When I saw the post about Nosevember I just knew you needed this photo! This is our greyhound, Zero (named after the ghost dog in Nightmare Before Christmas) on vacation on a beach in Oregon. Thanks for all the cuteness!

A nose so beepable I literally reach out toward my computer screen without thinking about it.
Greyhounds DOMINATE! And why not, they are the masters of the cold wet gigantic snout! Lurve greyhounds! (There is also a great shot of Enzo’s schnozz on his flickr set.)
And, BOOOOOOP! And ear rubs, also, too.

Hi Tracylee, teh Willoughby is still going.
He is +60 days from diagnosis. Still eats his mash, and has so much energy he’s full of beans. We call him “fake cancer dog” (jokingly of course), like those sad peeps who pretend to have cancer so they can get money and goodies from other peeps. Willoughby is getting so much petting and hugs, walks and toys and chew sticks, don’t forget the home-made food. I make a big tub of yam and chicken and rice every weekend and that’s his daily breakfast. Slightly warmed in the microwave to take the chill off, of course. 
The lump, sadly, is still there, and is larger.

Sweetie, you are so strong and so loving with your little boy. I love your “fake cancer” joke! At the very least, Willoughby will leave this world knowing he was loved beyond measure. Bless you both.
