After all the Teddy videos I’m convinced that #1 he likes ALL food (why does she bother asking?) and #2 he is getting more jealous at guarding HIS food.
If Ted weren’t already adorable as a real-life critter, I would say they might oughtta create a cartoon and use Ted’s actual voice as the dialogue for it.
At one point he totally said “Pumpkin!” Well, actually I’m pretty sure he said “cupcake”, but since he’s eating a pumpkin, and it sounds close enough, let’s pretend.
Too good!! After the video I couldn’t help but click in to the link with him in his santa cap eating a Christmas cookie – it was almost too much to take….

Am OK here after worst of Hurricane Sandy. Back online with minimal property damage. Kittehs were mildly alarmed when something would hit the house, but otherwise stuck to their schedule of napping, nomming and staring at random spots on the wall.

I just got back from the city on Sunday night! A bit harrowing, wondering about my flight status and all, and coming back to the good ol’ South where the storm has still been blowing around for a couple of days
Ceejoe- is the snow sticking where you are? I was horrified to see it on my patio this morning. Made me ALMOST want to call in “sick” and not go into work.

I just wish the shot was wide enough to show that he’s talking because she is acting like she’s going to take it away from him. Teddy is adorable, but I hate to think he’s feels like he has to fight for his food just for a video.
Egads! I swear Teddy is gonna beat down the lady who does these videos one day. Not that Teddy isn’t cute, like really really cute — it’s just that this lady seems so oblivious that he is lashing out and talking at her to keep away. She makes it seem like its all fun and games — I don’t suggest anyone try this at home.
I think if you gave Teddy an old boot, an ax handle, or a tree stump, he would eat them… or have a good try. (I hear porkies do chew ax handles etc. for the salt from sweaty hands.)
I was bored. Now I’m not.
Ummm- Halloween is on Wed. not Tues. I can watch Teddy on ANY day, though.

Do this kinds of porcupines really make that much noise naturally? I guess if you’re not prey you can say whatever you want.

She’s his keeper at the zoo… I’m pretty sure she can read his behavior better than we can considering she’s with him every day. No worries.
