How To Punk a Pup

While dogs may have a size and speed advantage over cats, they often have difficulty strategizing in three dimensions. Case in point:

  1. Mary (the first) says:

Of course the cat outsmarted the dog!!

  2. Did we honestly think it might end any other way? 🙂

  3. Kari Callin says:

Now you see me, now you don’t! BAZINGA!

  4. Cool move! Doggie never saw it comin’ or goin’…….
Have we fallen into a “Caturday” mode today or what!?!

  5. Blue Footed Booby says:

Depends on the dog. My late labrador would have doubled back the other way around the tree, and that could would have gotten licked naked.

Or maybe just picked up gently and carried around for a while.

  6. Blue Footed Booby says:

that cat would, not that could would

Wow, long day and it’s only 1:46…

  7. Haha, Capt. Kirk outsmarted that one bad guy like once, too! Almost exactly the same way. Can’t think of his name . . oh yes, it was —

  8. musicfoodbeerbikes says:

…not at my house. My two cats have the combined intellectual agility of a soap dish… My dog is kind of like Rain Man – brilliant one minute, dense enough to bend light the next…

  9. 😆 That is one SMART kitty 😆

  10. Kitty pulling a skwerlio on the dog. Purrfect!

  11. My cat did that to the neighbor dog once, except he jumped down onto the dog’s back and rode around the yard a couple of times. Dog stayed in his own yard after that.

  12. Well, Captain Kirk WAS kind of a tomcat.

  13. Touche`!

  14. most important in watching the background for a moment and not the animals…where are they? it looks like one amazing view from this backyard!

  15. Unless the cat was going up the tree to put on some pants, either way the cat was/is naked, so it couldn’t be licked anything other way.

  16. Reminds me of West Va, Blue Ridge mountains. A view you could live with.

  17. I always saw Kirk more as a horndog 😆

  18. What excellent characterizations!

  19. You know kitty’s sitting there under the tree at the end thinking, What a dumb mutt.

  20. Is it just me or were they not really running at top speed? Maybe I’m just used to my greyhound…

  21. You have no idea how much I’d pay to see that. 🙂

  22. Yeah, I tend to think this is something the dog and cat do for fun.

  23. music, that is the funniest thing I’ve read all day!

  24. This reminds me of my friend’s dog. He was chasing a cat around the family car and the cat got bored. Cat jumped onto the fence but the dog was too excited and continued running around the car. The cat watched.

  25. smallthunder says:

Combined intellectual ability of a soap dish … dense enough to bend light … d’ya mind if I borrow these lines? Just for a little while, mind you … I’ll return them … eventually …
