This Just In: Twins ResQte™

According to the Mail Online, these identical twin sisters, one abandoned by her mother and one lost stray from her, er, anyway whatever, were miraculously reunited! One is Kitty and one is Buttons but we can’t tell them apart!

These two are much better than the presidential debate, alert Sender-Inner Ragnhild K.

  6. Oh, Nurse Stef, we have missed your ministrations sorely. No one else’s squeaky shoes are quite the same!!

  7. phred's mom says:

I saw this item in the Mail, too. They were brought to
the animal shelter at the same time from different
situarions and, because they were so very young,
put into the same enclosure togethe so they could
be a comfort to each other. Now they are inseparable
and it is hoped they will find a forever home together.
    They are adorable.

  8. phred's mom says:

    *situations* goldurn IPad keyboard. *ahem!*

  9. phred's mom says:

  12. Tuxedo cats are the best.

    (Has a tuxedo cat.)

  13. Love those whispery whiskers. Reminds me of my much adored tuxie Harley, She had a chin that Kirk Douglas would envy.

  14. Where are they?
    What country/state/continent?

  15. Mary (the first) says:

Looks like somewhere in the U.K. Otherwise, I’d be standing right in line to adopt them forever!!

  16. Right behind me!!!

  17. It appears they are in the Mail. lol

  18. Well,then they’ll never get here!

  19. Womble girl says:

Battersey cats and dogs home, London. I want them too…..

  20. My 2 old lady cats would be horrified if I brought that much energy into their home… But I might find as cute a duo around here :)

  22. fleurdamour says:

    Mega squee

  23. I know! I know! I can tell which is which!
It’s easy peasy, Button is black and white and Kitty’s tail has a white tip.

  25. Yep :D I do hope they both get adopted to the same loving forever home :D

  26. My first thought when I saw these two: “Oh, Get Out! Too cute!!!!!”

  27. My diabetic coma has commenced. These two are so sweet, and together they’re just beyond words. Hope their dreams come true and they get to live together forebber.

  28. lisaLassie says:

  32. Oh good gravy, that accidental head-butt at the beginning has turned me into a puddle.

  34. Cambridge Rat Mom says:

I’ve fallen down and I can’t get up! I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much cuteness, even on this site!

‘Course, anything is better than those debates!!

  35. rescue gal says:

Identical twins! They need different color ribbons so you can tell them apart.

  36. Queen of Dork says:

How totally sweet! Peeps? Last night, I fell in love with a dog. Now, I’m more of a cat person but last night, my neighbor knocked on my door. I answered it and there she was with a friend and also a dog on a leash. She wanted to know if the dog was mine. I was like, “no…I don’t have a dog.” The dog was so cute! You know how dogs smile that doggy grin at you with their tongue hanging out and their tail wagging furiously? Well, that’s what this dog was doing. AND it was simultaneously whining and laughing. So I petted the dog and it licked (kissed) my hand and my heart melted. So anyway, my neighbors went about their way to try to find out whose dog this is. I haven’t heard yet if they found its home. He was so cute!

  37. sabrina rose says:

The dog was trying to charm you! I hope he/she comes back so you and your cats and the dog can live happily ever after!

  38. Queen of Dork says:

He was so sweet, sabrina! And there are so many butterflies down here right now, as the butterflies migrate south. There are so many. There’s an area on my street that I often walk by where the people planted things that butterflies adore. So when you walk down that block of the street, there are butterflies fluttering all about you! I’ve named that stretch of sidewalk, Butterfly Lane. Anyway, between the dog I met and the butterflies, I can’t help but sing this song: (I hope this will embed and not be one of those, BLOCKED songs)

  39. I am now on the verge of a diabetic coma

  40. Queen of Dork says:

    Oh dear.

    *tucks a sugar-free hamster under murkle46’s arm*

    That should do the trick.

    *squeaks away*

  41. Fird Birfle says:

    “sugar-free hamster” = tee hee !!!!! :)

  42. I saw this on the Huffington Post a few days ago and fell in love immediately. What a sweet story! Evidently they are so close that they cry when they are separated. How heartmelting.

  43. When they are twogether they are two close for comfort.

  44. sabrina rose says:

Nobody has said anything about the adorableness of the liddle puppy’s ears! Esp. in frame 8! (“whut?) I would gladly fly to the UK to adopt this pair, but methinks there is a long line already…….I hope there’s a followup story.

  45. OK, are you *trying* to kill us with cuteness, or what? This is reaching fatal overload!

  46. Martha in Washington says:

    Crinkly whiskers kill me!

  47. pupfanatic says:

Gimme that puppay! NOW! NOW! RIGHT NOW!!!! *runs to get paper bag and inhaler*

  48. Ya gotta be kidding. Nicest laugh I’ve had in a long time. They are cute!

  49. They sure have identical eyes — big blue marbles.

  50. phred's mom says:

they are identical twins, silly, of course their
    eyes are the same.

  51. sooooooooooo adorabuhls! eep! they look so happy together!

  52. ItsyBitsyTeenieWeeny says:

    The cuteness is killing me.

  53. I love the kitty’s whisker-eyebrows!!!

  54. Tyson Belliveau says:

8th picture down, Buttons looks like he’s got a pudgy little belly; too many treats!

  55. I really hope the two get adopted together because it could be a long friendship together I know, because I have 6 pets and they all get along together and when they play it much funner to watch than tv

  56. Pics #5-7 is like the definish of “redonk”.

  57. Looks like the “Twin” theme keeps on going! Completely understand!
