It’s a Science Experiment

I’m trying to drink my way to the bottom to see how flexible my head is.

“Zen sees the glass as half full,” notes photographer Steve Jurvetson. Yes, that’s the cat’s name: Zen. How perfect is that?

  1. 260Oakley says:

Mmmm, Zen and tonic. Just needs a twist of lime.

  2. emmberrann says:

Gonna need more than a twist of lime to get Zen’s little kepi outta that glass. I hope the water or gin or vodka or schnapps was the effort to get at it!!

  3. His name should be Fontanelle.

  4. A twist of the sub-lime? 😉

  5. What is the sound of one tongue lapping?

  7. Kari Callin says:

How low can you go? How low can you go? Huh. Pretty far!

  8. Thirsty kitty

  9. Princess Fiona says:

I wish my cats were that patient. Mine would simply knock over the glass and voila!

  10. Is it just me, or does that look like a llama at first (& admittedly not close) glance?!

  11. freetomato says:

Thomas Dogby is blinded by science….SCIENCE!

  12. Thumbs up!

  13. Fird Birfle says:

    *contemplative clapping*

  14. Mary Lou Finnegan says:

My Zen is a shelter rescue crossbreed – Siamese shape and attitude, basement cat color. Gorgeous but beyond vain.

  15. I want to see the next frame, where M’sieu Kitty straightens up with a glass stuck on his head and gets a faceful of water. *Sploooshmeewwwk*

  16. My girlcat used to do that when she was little. My mom would hold the glass for her, too. She can’t get her head in the glass anymore.

  17. I bet your kitteh is purrrrty. 🙂

  18. My cat goes for the paw dip and lick method 😉

  19. And, apparently, very determined! 🙂

  20. Our kitties are spoiled in that all water containers are filled to the brim with water 😀
