I’m Just a Girl Who Can’t Say No…

to squirrels.

I love them so much.

Here are some things I like to do:

Lookin’ at squirrels.

Feedin’ squirrels.

Coverin’ their tiny squirrel heads with tiny hats.

Admirin’ my haberdashery.

Enjoyin’ the squirrel’s delight.

In the last pic the squirrel looks like he is plotting the demise of “the person who keeps putting annoying hats on my head.”

I was rather wondering whether this lil’ guy is/ was Emo Skwyrl??? It must be TOUGH to look so cynical, with a multi-color polka dot party hat, on !!!!

That last squirrel in the party hat looks like she has been nursing some squirrel babies. Where are the babies?

You guys should do a post about he University of Michigan squirrel club. I hear it’s one of the most selective squirrel appreciation clubs in the country…

She carries around a tupperware container of tiny squirrel hats. And the squirrels wear them. I want to live where she lives.

As soon as I saw the first picture, I knew this was a Penn State squirrel! They are so freakishly friendly – I once had one sit on my shoulder and eat an oreo out of my hand. The hats are adorable…LOVE!

Squirrel cuteness has expanded my knowledge! At first I thought there was an error. I knew that haberdashers sold clothing, but I thought a milliner dealt in hats. Well, I looked it up. Haberdashers sell men’s clothing *and* accessories, while milliners make ladies’ hats. The captioner had it right and I am smarter for it. Thanks, C.O.!

“Lady, as long as you keep giving me peanuts, you can put whatever hat you want on me.”
