Look at that cute wee belleh! I had the great good
fortune to be favored with a belleh-skritching opportunity
by one of our resident munks while I offered him granola.
He ate out of my palm while my fingers delicately gave
him a tummyrub. His name was Billy Sol. You of an
earlier generation may recall the grain silo scandal in
LBJ’s Texas, one Billy Sol Estes gathered great quantities
of grain to control prices, or some such shenanigan.
Our Billy Sol dominated our hill with similar activity.
His commodity was acorns.
Perhaps if LBJ had offered his Billy Sol a belleh-skritching, things would’ve ended better for both of them.
I doubt that; have you taken a look at either
one of those two? Doesn’t bear contemplation.
