Aw, s/he is self-annointing! Those little guys are contortionists when they try to rub spit over themselves. PS – hedgie tocks are just as squidgy and soft as you’d hope they’d be.

I didn’t know hedgehogs could bend that way.
We have two hedgehogs and have seen them anoint themselves. However they are not that friendly. We put them in shallow water and they seem to walk around more.
