Mom Taxi, aka the Polar Express. Quiet car is not in the rear!
Don’t make me pull this polar bear over.
So cute!
Mama Pandas do this too. I have a picture that was taken in the wilds of China of a panda giving her baby a ride up a hill. Just don’t know how to link it here.
Is mama taxi wearing a collar?
I also wonder.
Looks like a radio tracking collar
Taxis always have radios to let them know about fares who need them.
Hmmm i suspect instead of clocking up the amount due in taxi fairs, this collar may clock up the amount of chores baby polar has to do in return
Yep, mom is wearing a tracking collar (see Happy Jack link above). Mom is also looking WAY too skinny–global warming=less ice=less access to food.
I was kinda shocked to see a polar bear looking so thin.
I actually physically hurt in my chest when I think about animals suffering because of what we humans have done to the planet.
Yes, Meaghan, I agree; it’s like a pain in my heart that just won’t go away…
Mama’s are usually thin when they come out of the den. They’ve used up all their stored fat giving meelks to baby. Maybe she is just freshly out of the den?
Hope so.
Judging by the size of her cub, I’d say that’s a good assumption so lets just all believe that, shall we?! (Pulls glasses down nose, taps pen….)
No, the bebbeh is way to big to be just emerging from den.
It looks like she’s totally strutting!
I love the ripply reflection on the water. Awesome picture!
