This is the greatest Haiku I’ve ever read…That owl’s a genius!
Mighty little owl
But one question puzzles him
“I can haz rodent?”
Owlet perched on branch
Ready to capture his prey
rapt gaze, eyes wide open.
If you want to show “eyes wide open” then write it this way: oyos.
Seven? Amateur.
this is my favorite haiku-photo combo of them ALL
Not a haiku, but having a toddler has caused me to memorize this.
“Pussy said the owl, “You elegant fowl! How charmingly sweet you sing. Oh, let us be married, too long we have tarried. But what shall we do for a ring?”
Awww memories of reading nursery rhymes to my kids!
S’Funnee…. I lurve that poem much more than my kids ever did…..

Birds flying high you know how I feel
Sun in the sky you know how I feel
Breeze driftin’ on by you know how I feel
