Sounds like a Purrari sports car!

Make sure you have your speakers turned up for theese one! One furry massive motor, hunkered down. At :19, an intrepid kitteh pokes his little bulb head up, and really cranks up the crankshaft. Or whatever.

Life in the fast lane from DrNWorb. These little guys are rescues, and to learn more just bounce over on the InterWebs to here.

  1. Our Geiger counter has detected dangerous levels of teh Qte

  2. *sigh*. We was all nice and comfurbuls until SOMEONE had to get up and mug for the camera!

  3. Cat Skyfire says:

Ralph, I’m not mom! Stop trying to suckle my belly!

  4. Bauthor says:

This is repost, I’m sure. I even remember asking in the original what kittens sounded like before the motor was invented.

  5. Every time I see a puddle of cats like this, I start singing to myself: There were 10 in the bed, and the little one said: Roll over! Roll over! So they all rolled over and one fell out.

You’re welcome for that earworm. 🙂

  6. Saffron says:

Not enough room in the kittayn bed? There is plenty of room in my house…. 🙂

  7. Same here, Saffron 😀

  8. I would add “I waited until they all fell out before I stuffed them in my hoodie and through the door I ran out.” 😀

  9. Oh, the QTE!!! So many wittle bulb heads popping up!!

  10. Linda Love says:

TAKE ME NOW, GODDESS! ** Kerplotz*

  11. dgerish says:

I’ve got a feral mama and 5 kittens in my back yard, about 9 weeks old, and as cute as these little buggers. Managed to nab one of the babies the other day (not the mama, who will CUT YOU!!!!!) and snorgled him, hoping for a purr-reaction. S/he simply glared at me, ears down, determined to resist.

Hopefully future efforts to socialize them will be more successful so that they can be re-homed. I’ve got to work fast, at their age.

  12. It is. Who could forget? Oodles of pointy-faced, pointy-eared identical kittehs mixing it up . . . I watched it at least three times a few weeks ago (or whenever it was here).

  13. Holy CARP!

    That is all.

  14. Gah! Little squeaker meow at the very beginning just about did me in.

  15. Brianna says:

I like the one whos head pops out like leviathan from the furry ocean depths.

  16. alwayscataddict says:

That’s what I was going to say!

  17. ElishaB. says:

Must request this sound be added to ALL noise/wave machines…especially the one in my doctor’s office. It would definitely calm me down!!! Love purrrssss!

  18. Mary (the first) says:

I bounced over on the interwebs and got all excited until I realized the Vancouver where these kidlets are available is not Vancouver, WA but Vancouver, BC. Sigh.

  19. Fird Birfle says:

The ONLY problem with this business, is that victoreia hasn’t made it to this comment stream. Once she shows up, there will likely be a few less kittayns makin’ da noise in dis’here joint ….. But them kittayns will be well-lurved !!!! 🙂

  20. Ali-Baba says:

Ah, I see the new Mikail Schumacher models are in!
(bonus points to whoever gets dis reference! 🙂 )

My lil’ “brother” is one of these kind of cats. His name is Luka (no, he doesn’t live on the second floor…unless you count the second level of his climbing tree! 😉 ), & he is a sleek furball o’ love. I luvs him verra much.

  21. Hopefully you’ll be able to CUT mama one of these days, but ferals can smile sterilization intentions a mile away.

  22. This is why my brother named my dear departed baby Harley.

  23. sorry, meant ferals can SMELL your intentions to stuff her into a small crate and take her to the scary place.

  24. Jackie Rose says:

The “Mew!” at 1:12 has kilt me ded.

  25. Dr. Emile Schoeffhausen says:

    Patience and fortitude, dgerish!

About four years ago, a feral momcat gave birth under my deck near my lemon tree. I nabbed the progeny when she was about 3 months old and brought her inside. She’s turned out to be an entitled and persnickety little lovebug named Snicket. Momcat Lemony got knocked up again and produced two more kittens. I scooped up the pair when they were about 6 weeks old, socialized them, and found a good home for them. I was able to trap Lemony and have her spayed/vaccinated. With her Kozy Kat Kabin and her twice daily meals, she continued to live under my deck. She wouldn’t run away when she saw me, but she never let me touch her.

Until a month ago. I finally broke through. Lemony let me pet her. Now she runs to me purring whenever I go outside, brushing up against my legs and giving me head bonks. It’s taken four long years, but it was well worth it.

There is nothing quite so warm and satisfying as the love and appreciation of a rescue.

  26. omg that is so wonderful!! four years! you are right about that warm feeling, i’ve had a few rescues myself!
    head bonks. lol.

  27. A basket of pur fur…. Or is it fur pur. Too cute!

  28. 6rabbits says:

Yep, need that “encore presentayshe” tag here.

  29. 6rabbits says:

    Yes! Purrfect description!! 🙂

  30. womblegirl says:

I do get the reference! A couple of weekends ago a few of us were together, and the boys decided that the best use for a giant projector system was 3 hours of formula 1 3 hours that we could have happily spent trapped in the cute section of youtube with baby animal vids like this……*pouts*
and that little squeaky meow just about ‘sploded my head!

  31. Purrr, purrr, purrr, purrr..

  32. thelittlemyrmidon says:

That was supposed to be “Purrr, purrr, purrr, purrr.. thunk!”

  33. Purrari sports car or crazy clown car, cute either way!

  34. victoreia says:

Yeah. I wish I’d had that sound on my iPod when I was in the hospital a couple of years ago…..

  35. victoreia says:

    Eh? *strives to look innacent*

  36. Leilani says:

Oh, this makes my miss my little Abby cat, Tiki. She had a silent meow, but her purr could fill a room and drown out any other noise. She went to the Rainbow Bridge 10 years ago, and her loss still hurts so much, I haven’t been able to bring myself to get another kitty. RIP, Teak. I still love and miss you.

  37. Alice Shortcake says:

    *leaps through screen*

  38. Yay! Great job with Momma Lemony, and wonderful story.

  39. A Gordian Knot of kittehs!!!!

  40. Ooh, that is a cute name! RIP Harley.

  41. Oh you are an AngelRescuer – you should get a commendation / meda / SOOMETHING SPECIAL – OH NO MY MISTAKE O yOU ACTUALLY ALREADY HAVE ENOUGH sPECIAL ABOUT YOU – YOU DON’T NEED ANY MORE
OMG = my caps lock jammed – so sorry I was shouting – I was just up – where’s the coffee pot

  42. Exactly what I thought! Everyone was sleeping comfortably until Mr. Nosey had to see what was going on. Kitty version of the elementary school student “connected kidneys” syndrome? (One kid raises his hand to ask to use the facility and then everyone else in the class has to go, too.)

  43. Dr. Emile Schoeffhausen, I love you. That is all. *hug*

  44. “Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr, purr.” Maybe the trouble maker should be named Sheldon.

  45. You are awesome! I have a couple in my house that started life as ferals, so I know it takes some serious patience. It’s like winning the Nobel Prize for Trust that first time you touch them! 🙂

  46. Any bonus points for getting the Luka/second floor reference?

  47. fleurdamour says:

Looks like the commuter transit elevator I was just on. Except no one was purring.

  48. No kidding. This one is highly protective of her kittens, as I’ve clearly got the shifty eyes of a kitten-napper.

  49. That’s quite something. I seem to be a known softie in town for indigent kitty-mamas. Ten years ago, a mama had 3 gorgeous kits under my porch. All three babies came inside for socialization, two got rehomed, one lives with me. It took Ursula YEARS to learn how to purr, though she always liked being petted. Mama disappeared once the babies were gone, so no second chances with her.

This mama is just hysterical. She’ll rush out when I come to check the feeder, and she’s slashed me twice. Serves me right for trying to pet her. The whole time I put food or water out, she’s hissing at me. Babies are now copycats in that respect!

  50. sotadragon says:

Love eet! 🙂 My wonderful auntie Kathy got me the plush Soft Kitty that has Penny’s voice singing “Soft Kitty” when you squeeze him. 😀 And, yes, I think Sheldon is a great cat name!

  51. sotadragon says:

    SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! ….*thud*

I swear I could almost feel the little kitty whiskers and nose when the first kitten got up in the camera purring up a storm! The effect was probably aided by the fact that I was listening through ear buds, but it was AWESOME anyway! 🙂

  52. sotadragon says:

OH! OH! Also, the squeaky baby kitteh meows! This is definitely one of the best videos to watch if you’re not feeling good. 🙂

  53. Fird Birfle says:

comme c’est truly tragique, Mary. You get honors for your efforts!!!

  54. Fird Birfle says:

that song in the 80s!!! I think Suzanne (sp?) Vega ???

    — it had to do with a kid whose family were @busive.

  55. Fird Birfle says:

RIP Teak and hugs for Leilani. 😦

  56. Clairdelune says:

Leilani, I understand!! My long-time tabby friend and companion — more like my shadow – went to the Rainbow Bridge a few months ago, and I still have a hard time falling asleep at night without her weight on my feet. I could swear I see her shadow gliding around the corners in the house.

  57. AWW, I am so sorry about your dear sweet kitty, Tiki 😥 BIG CYBER HUG for Leilani 😥

  58. I had a similar thing happen to me, Clairdelune. I could swear I saw a white form glide past me when I was going to the downstairs bathroom and I wondered if I had see the spirit of Spot, our dear departed cat. Another time, I had put my hand on top of a stuffed chair in the kitchen and felt a cold spot and when I moved my hand around it seemed to be in the form of a cat and I wondered if I was feeling the spirit of Tigger, our other dear departed cat. Both incidents occured a few months after they had crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I wonder if they were saying that they are waiting for us there.

  59. You still could of come up to Vancouver, BC and grabbed those sweet little kitties, Mary (the first) 😀 You would of had to make sure you had a vaild passport and a kitty carrier 😀

  60. Texas2Step says:

I will use them to build my kitten army! Then, world domination! But really, really cute domination, so it’s OK.

  61. Birdstar of ThunderClan says:

There’s lots of room in mine 😀 and another kitteh!

  62. This video confused a couple of my kittens. Hawkeye went looking for the source of the purring, and the squeaking brought out Trouble the Tribble as well.
