When The Stork Gets The Wrong Address…

chaos can ensue. Like that time an elephant was delivered to a mouse – the baby was frightened of its mouse mom!

Fortunately for these rare Amur tiger cubs, Cleopatra, the Shar Pei mom, took them in like they were her own.

Cleo’s Shar Pei puppies are happy to have their new littermates, Clyopa and Plyusha.

The stork gets to keep his job (for now) and you can get the whole story and a peek at a few more photos of the blended family at SF Gate.

Check the article for pics of the human mamushka’s beyootiful black kitteh head-butting its tiger foster-sib: then both of them being scaredy-katskis.

I’m pretty sure that I CAN’T HANDLE THE CUTE!!

If they have a family touch football game, instead of shirts vs skins, it could be wrinkles vs stripes.

Tiger cub wonders why his new brother’s stripes are in 3-D.

Check out the photos in the article, there’s also a family black cat. These tigers are going to need serious therapy!

I showed this to my hubby, and he said, “A nipple’s a nipple.” :)

Spoken like a true man. If mammals can drink any old mammal milk, wonder if there’s some factual basis to Romulus / Remus. Glad I’ve never had to drink wolf milk, tho’ many of us have had Tiger’s Milk.

These are such cute dogs, but every time we get one in (even a mix of one) they itch me and the hubby to death! We flip a coin for who has to bathe because they break us out in a little red spots on our forearms. Anyone else have this experience?

    • kibblenibble says:

Yes! My friend had one. Sweetest dog, but he was the only dog that ever made me itch. :-(

I get spots and sneezies from Guinea Peegs!

I’ve got a Shar Pei but had to check them out first as they’re known to cause allergic reactions. I have eczema. It wasn’t a problem and ‘Juno’ is an awesome addition to the family!

I personally own shar peis, they are the most loving and nurturing dogs Ever. I’d never trade them for anything

  13. D’awww.<3 That's almost as adorable as Fluttershy. xD

Soooo.. does this mean that a stork could drop tiger cubs to any house, any time? Like, to mine as well? And it could accidentally bring panda cubs and baby seals and other fluffywuffycutesywutesy-things too?

*spends the rest of the day staring out the window, watching for storks*

Keeling me…and not softly. Too precious and sweet, proving once again that animals are as a rule better than human beings.

Maybe this is the tag that we need for the mixed animal parenting:

    Stork Confusion

In the picture with the black cat, it looks like there are kittens in the background. Could this be possible? A baby, puppies, tiger cubs, and kittens!!! That would be totally too cute.
