How did this wonder come to be??
Agreed!! Need a backstory!
Reminds me of T. C. Boyle’s “A Friend of the Earth.”
Thanks for the perfect birthday present!
OH MAH GAH
aka WOT THA’ ????
I always KNEW that Meg is actually Glinda the Good Witch but MAN O MAN
she haz Mad Skillz!!!!
(Question: is a White Girl allowed to use the phrase ” Mad Skillz”)
Yes Fird Birfle, if she says it with a smile
thanks for the status update, Robin!!
(See? I said it wif a smiley)
Mah haid done ‘sploded!
*is speechless*
mouth hanging open here too…
Holy guacamole!
Beautiful Dreamers!
We definitely need a back story on this adorable trio. Alexandra K., please fill us in!
I must point out the delectable spotted tum on the puppeh, as well as the look of sheer bliss on all the nappers’ faces. Too cute!
Ok, now that I can form words, I would like point out the smooshed kitteh ear.
I also want to know the back story about this sweet trio, Berg
We need like a fennec or a ferret between the fox’s paws. THEN we can shut down the internet.
Or a hedgehog!
Or a bun
There is a bunny in the fox legs, isn’t there?
Maybe a guinea pig or a hamster?
I can not believe this photo! It’s perfect!
Humans should follow suit and maintain harmony in society.
Beautiful!
AMEN, SISTER , AMEN !We need more harmoney and peace on earth ! REALLY !!!
I now can rest in peace.
This is CO’s equivalent of turducken, now I am overstuffed with cuteness.
*sputter* *gasp* *thud*
Naw. Needs a bunny and maybe a bird too!
Definitely. A couple little lovebirds snuggled up on the puppeh’s back.
I would DIE for a pet foxy…love, love LOVE this piccy..
Have you seen this Zola?

okay, you should not click this link. The story is actually REALLY SAD. This photo made me super happy, then I read this story and felt very upset. They breed foxes to love people, but then sell them to fur farms. Don’t click that link!!
thanks for the warnings. honestly why is there still a demand for fur. these people are unconscious freaks.
It’s a fascinating scientific story, repeating mankind’s prehistoric domestication of wolves, this time with foxes, producing the same results in just a few decades.
But yes, it’s tragic that without other sources of funding they had to sell off some animals for fur. They’re trying to arrange permits to sell them as pets instead.
They’re destructive and they pee everywhere, but holy carp are they cute.
Aaaaaahhhhhh!!!! I just came back from vacation today, only to find that the world has ended! *thunk*
Words fail me…
*thud*
Now that I’ve collected myself, how in tunket did
these three get together?!??!!? Any time I need a
bit of soothing on a bad day, this will be my go-to
image. I needed soothing today, this was perfectly timed!
Thanks, all! *sigh*
The Fox & The Hound & The Kitteh
In the words of Liz Lemon, “I WANT TO GO THERE.”
By the Hammer of Thor they are cute!
Is it just me or is foxy holding something against his belleh? Like a baby maybe?
I thought it might be a bunneh but let’s face it, that would be too much to hope for.
i think it’s his/her tail. How sweet….must have had a good meal then went nappy time!
It sure looks like an eye and an ear, there, but a higher res picture, http://wildhumans.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/lucky-party.jpg shows it to be the other hind paw, a front leg, and its tail.
For a second, I thought it was a little black guinea pig.
The ol’ typing test: the kit and brown fox snorgled under the smilink dog.
Picture not quite complete (trying to climb through the monitor to take my spot on the bed… ready to nap now!)
HO-LEE BUCKETS!
You know what? Can’t beat that. I’m out of the game. For one minute. Then back.
NO WAY !!!!!! (thud)
*sings* We are fam-i-squee.
Gah!!! *thud*
I’ve always thought that a fox would be what you’d get if you crossed a cat and a dog.
Isn’t that how we got foxes?
Apparently Dr. Peter Venkman was right, but the results were a lot curer than anyone expected.
*sigh* A lot CUTER. Rassin’ frassin’ Kindle.
*looks forlornly at couch, populated only by laundry-not adorable, snoozing anipals*
*is horribly disappointed*
*hands luvstehQte a new Teddy Bear in consolation*
***clapping hands with delight while squeeing**
Someone needs to write a kids’ book based on this photo.
It’s beautiful *sheds tear.* There is hope for the universe!
Dusts off copies of the Bible, Koran, and Hindu scriptures and plots a course to pray for forgiveness at all relevant houses of worship before the end time. Writes checks to PETA and Audubon just in case.
MARVELOUSS, this.
(oops; uses wite-out on computer screen, on the extra “s”)
Are you sure this is not some kind of Disney movie? That level of cuteness is impossible in reality!
**BANG** Death by cute.
Doggeh , Fox and Ki-i-tie snooze together in perfect harmony
Side by side on the couch with floral pillow, why can’t we?
it’s an interspecies snorgle trifecta! what ARE the ODDS??! *shakes head*
Oh Em GEE!! How did this happen?! I want to find the perfect little world where this sort of thing happens. That kitty looks so cozy with his smooshed ear.
Well gee, now I’ve seen everything! Somebody get the lights!
Luv luv luv luvvvvvvvv dis!
Wait, just how does the fox fit in there..??
And could that be.. Is it possible… Is that a pit bull??? That bumps it to another whole level!
i will forgo my planned vacation and visit this couch instead!
i’ve always thought foxes were halfway between dogs & cats, and this is proofff!
The only way to top this is adding a squirrel sleeping on the dog’s belly.
If this isn’t a calendar cover, I don’t know what is. Fan-farking-tastic.
I really think there’s a Guinea Peeg snuggled between the fox’s forepaws
Meg’s comments always kill me. She is totally right: there is no more need for the internets after this post.
Redonk.

It looks to me as if there is a fourth furry cuddled up by the fox. Something small and brown, another kitten or a bunny?
What a sweet, sad story (Nick’s blog re: the fox). But what a beautiful picture.
It’s almost too much cuteness. I can’t look away!!!!!
I call “Matchingks!” on the fox and the lovely spots on the pittie.
Felt a lump in my throat after reading longestacres blog…. little foxy has passed away… RIP furry friend..
The cutest thing.
I.
Have.
Ever.
Seen.
Who on earth took this picture ? We gotta find out just how many critters are in that pic !!
Found a backstory, y’all!!
on this guy’s blog
Seriously? bebeh foxlet curled up in a basket? DED.
there’s a few ADORABLE posts about him
(but be careful when reading the most recent one because it will really mess up your day.)
They should get India and Pakistan together, and Israel and Palestine, and show them this photo.
*lightbulb over head*
I = India & Israel
P = Pakistan & Palestine ….
SURELY there must be a profound bit of philosophical brilliance behind these coincidences ???
*dons nerdy-looking genius spectacles and ponders ….*
THAT FOX has a SQUIRRELIO in his PAWS!!!
Dog: Couch, soft pillow–naptime!
Kitty: Doggy neck–naptime!
Fox: Warm doggy belly–naptime!
I must point out the dog’s flue (sp?) flopping on the pillow.
yeah, we haven’t had a chance to fix that since santa kicked it in.
