Here Comes the 11:17 Duckling Express

… right on time, as usual.

From Peggy2012CREATIVELENZ comes this mama Goldeneye duck and her (extremely) close relatives.

  1. 11 bebeh ducklings!

  2. Dontcha love the splashy patterns on wild ducklings? It’s for camouflage, of course, but still . . . when I go see my dad in Florida, I get to see Black-Bellied Whistling ducks and their amazing babies:

  3. ah!ah!ah!

  4. they almost have chickadee cheeks!

  5. Nice formation.

  6. That Momma has a lot of work to do, I wonder if they get welfare checks? Lol

  7. Extreme close up please!!

  8. “Maaahhm, he’s touching me AGAIN!”

  9. Jimbeaux says:

Okay, I’ve been having a bad day, but this really helped a lot; I love duckies swimming along together! (And I loved the mouse-over ‘train noises’. Very adorable!)

  10. 260Oakley says:

Nice to see that Amquack has upgraded its trains. I wonder if they’ve hired new conducktors as well?

(No need to groan over this one. I’ve taken care of that already.)

  11. Pardon me boy, is that the Quack and Waddle Choo Choo?

  12. Mary (the first) says:

Dan, I didn’t think it’s possible, but I think you are in competish with Oakley for Pun of the Week!!

  13. Cambridge Rat Mom says:

G.R.O.A.N. You get me every time!

  14. Cambridge Rat Mom says:

Double G.R.O.A.N. Thanks for all your hard work!

  15. That is high praise indeed *bows*.

  16. ams1001 says:

I never groan. When I am short of time to read a long thread I will search for “260” just to see what you’ve come up with. 🙂

  17. Fird Birfle says:

YAY FOR DanS’s wordsmithing and YAY for 260’s generous “training” of us mere mortals, here at CO (hopefully Dan doesn’t mind, my lumping him into the “mere mortals” bit ?…)

  18. Fird Birfle says:

agreed espesh the duck/ train hoovertext…
Also Jimbeaux here aremy hopes that your day today is (wait for it…)
    JUST DUCKY !!!!????

*ducks the rotted produce being thrown toward me*

  19. Fird Birfle says:
