You want a haiku?

I will try to think of one

I’m thinking  …thinking

This might be a good time to read War & Peace, Hotshotjen.

    I am the expert
    At slowetry in motion
    Dude, come hang with me

  2. dubyah1 says:

    Two-toed or three-toed,
    Second-fav’rite deadly sin
    At the speed of cute.

  3. dubyah1 says:

Wups! In mod lounge, donning smoking jacket and pug slipp`eres, sipping on something suitable and raiding ‘fridge.
    Ahem:

    Two-toed or three-toed,
    Second-fav’rite dedly sin
    At the speed of cute.

    • Mary (the first) says:

Interesting. I assumed it was that last word, line 2, that got you into the lounge.

      • dubyah1 says:

Nope, I forgot about ‘ded’. Dedly sinning is abetted on CO, what with the morsel-popping, ear-nom line-cutting, kitteh-napping and concupiscent capybara- and covey-coveting that goes on here.
As for my fourth favourite sin, behold the mod. lounge, and Exhibit Ehn: now littered with crumpled Dove bar wrappers and avocado chip bags, and crantini glasses mysteriously covered in chocolate smears and sticky green fingerprints.

care to rank them for us, dub? inquiring minds want to know… we know #s 2 and 4, where do you place the others? :D

          • dubyah1 says:

            Thanks for asking!
in demi-Latin for the pearl-clutchers, since I’m still full on mod-lounge goodies:
Luxuria [obv!], Sloth, Maru, Gula, Superbia, Loris, and Ira

          • dubyah1 says:

            Sorry, in Fri-ku:

            Luxuria, (obv!)
            Sloth, Maru, Gula, Loris,
            And Superb-Ira

          • tracylee says:

            Maru and Loris?
            are you confusing your cute
            with your dedly sins?

            (see, I can fri-ku too!)

  4. The humans call me
    Little Buttercup, although
    I could not tell why

  5. dgerish says:

  6. tracylee says:

    Cleopatra got
    a little carried away
    with her eyeliner

  7. Rachael says:

    “Spring” into action
    My slothful smile is ready
    To warm your sad heart

  8. Fird Birfle says:

    Cute Overload, aka

    Sloths R Us

  9. I am so learning to appreciate and love the sloth smiles. Wonder if they are as happy as they appear.

  10. Josh Norem says:

When you are close to a sloth everyone smiles! http://i.imgur.com/XisOX.jpg

    • arv9y says:

Sounds like a terrific first line for a song, doesn’t it?

When you are close to a sloth, everyone smiles.
Great big grins that spread for miles and miles and miles.
For being nearby to a slothy makes everyone feels frothy
And that’s why the sloth is so good for your health.
Oohh, when you are close to a sloth, everyone smiles.

  11. Mary (the first) says:

    Since I just got up
I feel like a sloth myself
    I need more coffee.

  12. Sprock says:

    Said the two-toed sloth
“Don’t need no stinkin’ third toe
    Two’s just fine, thank you.”

  13. luvstehQte says:

    more friday haikus
    than i could possibly read
    in just one sitting

  14. The Sloth sat high up in a tree
and said “my life is great for me.
Although I do not move real fast,
every day I have a blast.
I smile and smile the whole day through.
and never do I sing the blues
and so the time is right you see,
to let the world hear me say WEE!

  15. Googlebaby says:

I don’t like sloths, and I wish that co wouldn’t post so many of them…

  16. Saffron says:

    My nails are quite long
    The manicures can take hours!
    As they file….I smile.

Awwww. Buttercup is so cute. At the sanctuary they have a cafe where her basket hangs. So after your lunch you can go commune with her.
