When Amanda left for a six-month deployment in the Air Force, Daisy was just a puppy. Now Daisy’s all grown up, and mommy’s home. Grab a tissue and watch.

I so hoped this video would wind up in CO!!! Puppers is so happy to have mommy home!

And we are so happy, and thankful too, that Daisy’s mum is back, safe and sound, from her service to our Nation…

  13. Aww. I used to have a beagle named Daisy. Baroooo!

  14. Mary says:

A beagle is never shy about letting you know how much they love you. My Sam cries and goes nuts like this when we come back from vacation. Daisy couldn’t have hidden her happiness if she had tried. Doesn’t it make you feel great to be so love? I’m glad that you are back home safe with Daisy and your other loved ones.

  19. Kimberly says:

I second the thanks and awesome video comments, etc.

But did anybody notice the GIGANTIC dog bed! I mean that beagle has it made! It’s like the equivalent of a King size mattress for the liitle gal, and looks super padded and comfy!

  20. dubyah1 says:

Lol, her husband sounds exactly like my brothers when they want to show you something extra special: yeah, yeah, flowers are great, herd, herd, go see the dog!

  21. hksginger says:

This is sooo adorable but the puppers cries realllllly freaked out one of my puppers. he got all agitated and very vocal … hint, keep the sound low if you have doggies nearby

animals have languages, i just know it. remember those two cats ‘talkin’. i know a bunch of peoiple who said thier cats came running, including my jasmine, cat treat ‘ho. feed her tgreats and she is yours forever, no matter who you are..that jasmine: so far in about in a few short months, she has frozen over a central a/c, covered and crashed my machine and blogged up a brand new vacuum cleaner. FUR, that’s how, that perky siberian fur..she is probably gloating to her friends who i cannot see..

Videos of soldiers coming home to their dogs are probably my favorite cute genre, right after Maru. :)

That is one excited doggy. I wonder if she’s still going? I can imagine her whining and jumping happily for months on end.

All I can think that the beagle is saying: “Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!”

  40. beach2peak says:

Way too short. I could watch this for hours.

  41. James says:

Do I have to be the stick in the mud to ruin this moment with the fact that you should never leave a choke chain on a dog when you aren’t walking him? Just pointing it out. Besides that, lovely video.

    • Kelly says:

Actually, you should never put a choke chain on a dog, period – whether they’re on a walk or not. Choke chains kill.
