  1. hahahah…. big [splort!] and then [slurpslurpslurp...]

  2. Adorable! I must admit I had a moment of “Just pick the little guy and carry him down the stairs already!,” but it’s probably good to let Hamlet figure out how to navigate the stairs on his own. He obviously can, even if he is a wee bit scared.

I think that landing spot was intentional–goal!

  3. Bright piglet he figured out that if he jumps IN the bowl they can’t take it away from him!

  19. this is one of those videos you should play loud enough for your cube-mates to hear.

  20. baileysgrandmom says:

I’m trying to figure out how he was simultaneously grunting and oink/squealing–shall we call it squoinking? (And, yes, I laughed out loud when he nose-dived into the oatmeal. I like oatmeal my own self, but dislike the feel of it on my trotters…)

  21. Mary (the tall) says:

Can someone roboconstruct one of those fancy animated gif thingys of the last few seconds? I’m asking for a friend…. :)

  22. How does so much noise come out of something so small?!

  24. I give him a full 10 points for the landing (splat).

  25. Theresa says:

    “I MUST HAVE YOU!!!111!!!”

  26. Theresa says:

I’m wondering if all the sounds came from the same, erm, place.

  27. Haaaaa, best ending ever. A+++ would do business with again. That is how I eat oatmeal in the morning too.

  28. Here is the sequel “Hamlet the Mini Pig – Goes Up the Stairs”

  29. That poor pig, they keep taking his oatmeal away from him : (

maybe they put some ginger in that oatmeal?

  32. tobesograteful says:

Wow, that’s the biggest, noisiest hamster I’m EVER seen!

  33. kodalai says:

I think they are using his favorite treat as a deliberate encouragement to learn to navigate the stairs. Once he has gained confidence in the stairs he can move about the house more freely!

  34. cream of squeet

  35. did you know that Porky Pig’s speech impediment was an oink intruding on his enunciation?

  36. Ooooh! He made me snort when he dived into his oatmeal! Don’t know how he managed to get down the stairs with that sweet little belly.

  37. Theresa says:

  42. CathyDee says:

The Russian judges will probably throw a wrench into things (as usual) and give it only a 7.8. So predictable……..

  47. The zig zag descent reminds me of a typewriter. Apt for Hamlet me thinks!

  48. I firmly believe that Cute Overload is THE ONLY REASON I haven’t yet gone medieval on my co-workers.
