What a sweet, patient, long-suffering cat.
If kitty likes bellyrubs, s/he may be getting as much out of it as the chick! I’ve had a (male) cat who would do anything for a rub, including letting a littler kitteh knead and knead and then finally nurse. It’s my best cat story ever.

Sometimes that’s just awkward. I’m a non-native English speaker, and when talking to an American friend I have to reeeaaalllyy strain myself to remember the “real” words to terms like snorgle, redonk and nom :/
Nommies are food – especially Cookies – if you love someone you and the someone snorgle – you wrap you arms round and hug and cuddle – redonk is short of redonkulous I would say if I may – that it is like ridiculous – but only in a pleasant way, because you smile at it
See it my way – I am English born – and I came to CuteOverload and it was like having another language to ADD to my repertoire of – umm six I think but some are better to learn (easier) than others

All language(s) consist of words – I was listening to a song the other day and the girl sang “They’re words and words are all I have to charm your heart away” well it surely sounded awfu’ purdy -

One of the funniest things I’ve ever had the privilege to see was watching a videotape of a colleague in a simulation trying to get something just out of reach, and hear a colonel mutter, ‘Ehn! Ehn!’.
I ‘Baroo?’d, so we looked at each other, nodded curtly, and went on with the marking.

I’m over here having Cat Withdrawal. I have not petted, kissed, stroked, smooched, been bossed around by, loved, been given the evil eye by, heard the purr of, marveled at the whiskers of, shooed off of the kitchen counters and the dining room table, laughed at the antics of, a cat. In so many months. Crap. I SO miss living with the wonderful creature, a cat. *gulp. sobs a little, tiny bit*
Queenie, I wish I could send my two Ministers of Feline Mayhem for a visit at Castle Dorrk. Then you could get your fill of cat antics and I could get…. a break!

I’m also currently catless but luckily have friends with cats that allow me to pet them sometimes, and “baby sit”, even. So far, I’m holding on.. but found myself patting a stuffed rabbit the other night with a “good kitty” motion, so clearly I should get some real ones soon. (Plus, last night I dreamed about 2 kittayns coming to my house. Sigh)
On the other hand, no litter patrol. No omnipresent air freshners, you get the picture.
