Is this kitten trying to groom itself? I didn’t think kittens this young did that. I thought they left that to momma. Or it is just trying to do the equivalent of a baby sucking it’s thumb?

Quite possibly not. Human babies take a while to figure that one out and our brains start out bigger than this kitten.
This helped my night immensely, after an 80-hour work week (summer associate at a law firm) and being betrayed by the man who professed to love me. Little kitties are a balm for all pain, aren’t they?
