A dog’s gotta do what a dog’s gotta do

I love how the pup is all “Let’s GO!!!” at the very end… Thanks to Sender-Inner Jesika M.

    Cutest bike lock EVER!

  2. photogirl says:

    So portable!

  3. SlaveToCat says:

I love the horn honking. Wonder if the alarm sounds something like baaarrrrruuuuuu.

    Doggie has a chauffeur.

  4. I need to take up biking again, and get all the latest equipment!

  5. victoreia says:

Pup should have a bigger seat! After all that hard guard work!

  6. Birdcage says:

I agree – get that puppeh a sidecar or something!!!!!

  7. Rachael says:

Puppeh definitely needs a bigger seat, though he seems pretty darned happy with things as they are. I love how he gives the “ready to roll” signal at the end. 🙂

  8. Now THAT’S some cute!

  9. Fird Birfle says:

    not to mention, furry!!

  10. Impressive……wonder if that would work in NYC? Maybe with a German Shepherd or Rottweiler? Or maybe my EBIL KITTY that I have handraised since birth…..now he’s got the attitude for it (nice and evil I say)

  11. I haven’t had so much shock in my life! how in the world do you teach a dog that? I didn’t think it could get better than the perfect stance, and then to climb up?!
could this dog climb a ladder? why do I feel, as a human, that I am no where near as cool as our animal friends?

also, I could see a banana seat as another addition to the bike. and some cards to make that cool sound….and maybe a few other pets. totally charming!

    stayin nuff free,

  12. Wouldn’t call him a pup with such a white muzzle, but he is a very good dog. Yes.

  13. OMG. :O awesome bike lock.

  14. Wow, what a smart, good dog. It’s hard to beat an old Golden.

  15. I also love that everyone is stopping to look. God knows I would.

More info. plus Huff Post says that someone has set up a fund to get the sweet pooch a safer seat! =) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/01/li-li-chinese-golden-retriever-guards-owners-bike_n_1468628.html

More info. here, also mentions a site raising money for a safer ride for the loyal pooch. =) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/01/li-li-chinese-golden-retriever-guards-owners-bike_n_1468628.html

  18. Sasha's Mum says:

Do you think her name is Daisy?

(sorry for any earwormness that engenders)

  19. ThirdShift says:

It’s cute but I can’t help being scared for the little pupper, what if he falls off! There’s another pupper in the UK that climbs up the roof to hang out with his thatcher owner, it’s adorable as heck but what if one day he just stumbles a little, it’s a long way down!

  20. Mudbug says:

The only thing I would worry about is that puppers tail getting caught in the spokes. OWWWWW ! Personally I have an adult trike with a large basket on the back & I’m more than willing toi give any pup, cat, otter what ever a ride !!! I’ll even let them squeeze the bulb of the horn ! hee hee hee

  21. Melissa V says:

The most amazing thing to me (and it’s all pretty amazing) is that this dog is in China. He is a HUGE dog for China – no wonder he works as a theft deterrent, many Chinese people are afraid of dogs that big!

  22. That makes me want to learn how to ride a bike just so I can get a dog and train him/her to watch it.

  23. According to the YouTube link, there is a campaign to raise money for a better pup seat.

  24. Speaking of honking – here’s a dog who knows HOW.

  25. mplsdeb says:

Isn’t that a hoot. Climbs up. The owner waits for the ‘ok, let’s roll’ from the dog.
    It’s too cute.

  26. Hoe does he keep his balance!? Awesome dog!

  27. That is just priceless!

The dog could probably learn to climb a ladder: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zfqZYdutMI
