I believe it was a fixed-length internship. I would totally be bawling my eyes out if I were lucky enough to receive such loving farewell hugs.

I have NEVER commented on a CO post before even though I’ve been a regular for years now. But this post drove me into such a cute-gasm that I actually remained totally silent for the whole video as opposed to my usual squealing and cooing. Well well. Nothing to complain about here. The way those lions give him hugs reminds me of my own cat, who has done exactly the same kind of snuggling and hugging from the time she was a little kitten.
It IS nice to see a guy willing to publicly snuggle and give wee lion kisses to a bunch of overgrown kittens.

I love the adolescent boy lion — all slack-jawed at the beginning, sporting a mohawk, and not really being aware of his weight at the end.
I feel ripped off now, my safari didn’t have snuggly lions like that (or the cute guy either!) We had a mama lion get really mad at us and growling, not kitty snuggles like that guy is gettting.
And then the boy lion’s all “I will lean against you REALLY HARD”, and the guy has to gently nudge him off.
