Not Braggin’, But…

I’m a Chick Magnet.

Fave Frame™

Jack B., you captured our hearts with this video.

  1. Fird Birfle says:

ILs sont adorables, tous les deux !!!

  2. Kari Callin says:

Soap opera for animals: “Like Seeds Through the Hourglass, So Are The Chicks of Our Lives”

  3. I feel ya little chicken…. I feel ya

  4. Aw. Sweet.

  5. You realize that chick was nestled into one of the prime axes of snorgling. They both look done in and ready for a power nap.

  6. Re: Smooch! hovertext

Are you sure kitty wasn’t just tasting?

  7. earlybird1 says:

I get a little disoriented when I fall out bed too. Hee!

  8. SoCrates says:

OMG! The froof between/on the little chickie toes!

  9. That was one of the cutest things I have EVER seen. More videos of this pair, please.

  10. That cat looks a lot like one of ours, except that ours has the more traditional tabby stripes instead of these pretty swirls. I also think that ours would eat the chick in no time flat, so I am not going to try this at home!

  11. Teresa in St Louis (formerly of KC) says:

That’s a kitteh for you – always ready to share a nap.

  12. wuyizidi says:

    “I luv you fud”.

  13. Tastes like chicken! 😛

  14. Cutest video ever!

  15. the kitty looks like he lives inside i-dream-of-jeannie’s bottle! he’s in some kind of groovy surroundings.

  16. The Original Jane says:

Mommy? (wrong creature to imprint on, chick)

  17. Bonnie B says:

I had the same thought! LOL

  18. Poor kitty. That youtube page is full of him being assaulted by sleeping chicks and baby quails.

Beautiful kitty reminds me of my father’s dear Alex.

  19. Matchingks!

  20. “You smell like chicken” 🙂

  21. Did anyone else put a mental soundtrack of a huge purr into this vid?

  22. And….. CUT! (thanks goodness they didn´t show the gory horror film ending!) 😉

  23. Yep!

  24. hmstracylee says:

aw, mah nugget’s not ready yet

  25. Watching this vid also makes me sleepy zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  26. ingemary says:

    YES ! My thinking exactly. I am afraid I’m a suspicious person….

  27. bahaha the name of the youtube account is tubbytubbytubtubs. i wonder if that’s the kitty’s name

  28. You know it.

  29. mindadale says:

My childhood kitty once had a baby bird hid underneath her very heavy blankets (still alive). I’m sure she took a very nice nap with him. I’m also sure she had every intention of eating him later. (Also imagine I looked pretty funny at 8 years old reacting to lifting up the cat’s blanket to have a bird come gratefully hopping out!)

    Gotta love those kitty antics!

  30. Kinda small for a proper feather boa.

  31. Oscar I believe.

  32. skippymom says:

I really like the quilty whatever behind them.

  33. Aww cuddles, so cute! As a bird lover I’m always wary of kittehs, but this one genuinely seems like a adoptive parent to that little Chick!

  34. skippymom says:

My parakeet Jim used to land on the head of my cat Phoebe and sit there for a while. It wasn’t that they were pals, just that Jim was a daredevil and Phoebe was too dumb and lazy to care.

  35. Fird Birfle says:

    Also, I’m visualizing the Peep,
going over to the hourglass, to eat up the seeds from the mound.

  36. Fird Birfle says:

  37. Fird Birfle says:

    I know, right?

I was coveting the pretty fabric hanging behind them. YAY (?) paisley-ish prints.

  38. Fird Birfle says:

    LOVE thees.

  39. skippymom says:

  40. skippymom says:

  41. Fird Birfle says:

skippymom, do you know the tagline for “Days of Our Lives”?
NOT that I imagine you and Eddy have enough spare time on your hands,
    for such telebision programs.

Kari has slightly adjusted that tagline (“seed” for “sand”)
and it gave me a mental pic of “The Next Photo”.
    Chick + birdseed = 🙂

  42. skippymom says:

Thanks for splaining. Eddy watches TV all day while I’m at work, but I haven’t seen a soap opera since my mother used to watch them while she ironed.

  43. Everybody needs a fuzzy friend!

  44. Kari Callin says:

I don’t watch soap operas, but that tagline seem to fit, in my addled brain. ;D

  45. Same here 😀 I also want to hear the story about how that little chick wound up with that cat 😀
