Hey, this reminds me. Does anybody want to go with me to see the gecko exhibit at the Museum of Science in Boston?

    • Mary (the first) says:

Well, I would if I lived anywhere even remotely near Boston….

    • pyrit says:

I was just there. Da feets! You have been warned…

    • victoreia says:

I would, except a) I live nowhere near Boston, and b) I could just search the upper walls of my apartment and find geckos.

(I say upper walls with fingers crossed, since if they’re within feline reach, I invariably have to pick the poor mangled gecko and remove it from the premises. Depending on how long it’s been on the floor, it may or may not still be among the living……)

      • skippymom says:

Good lord, what do you do if you find one that’s mangled but still alive?

        • victoreia says:

Very carefully step between the cat[s] and the gecko, try to slide it onto my hand without getting too squeamish, and rush outside to put it down. (While trying to keep said cat[s] from tripping me……)

Then I go wash my hands, and scold the fur-kid[s] for making me pick the gecko up.
