*jumping up and down and yelling*
Hey everybody, there’s a new post! And Friday haiku is back!!!!!!1
*shaking pompoms wildly*
(I’d join in the jumping, but my asthma’s giving me fits.)
** doing the happy dance! ** HAIKU YAY!
Oh, sweet mama-mine.
I cling to you like leeches.
Just don’t sit on me.
niiiicce haiku… and you took the time to do it right instead of jumping up & down & being first…man, i’m afraid id’a been right there with skippymom if i’d had the chance to be first…you deserve your props RosieLB…
plus it’s really funny!…
Hey, wait a minute.
Is the title of this post
a form of Rickroll?
Never gonna give
you up Never gonna let
you down. Hah! Rick Roll!
Golf clap.
Sorry not a haiku, just a memory.
I remember sitting on my father’s shoe and holding on to his leg just like this little guy, and my father would walked around the kitchen laughing and saying “there seems to be something on my shoe”.
hah! Mine did the same thing… “I think I stepped in something” and try to shake it(me) off! *sigh*
Same here!! It seems to be a universal dad-thing! We even did it together with my brother, one on the left leg, the other on the right.
Never gonna let you go ,….. gonna hold on to your leg for-ever……..
Sorry no haiku the title just reminded me of “that” song
My youngest Alex would grab my leg from behind while I turned in circles “looking” for him. “Where’s Alex? I know he was just here.” He turns 18 in April!
Watch out Mama Gorilla…they grow up WAY too fast!
Hopefully, Alex had stopped doing it by the time he’d turned seventeen, Martha
Take me for a ride
babies grow up way too fast
cherish while you can
AAAAAhhhhnnnnnn
Safe in your shadow
I gaze upon the future…
Not yet time to let go
Applause!
Momma and baby
Look at the silly humans
Looking back at them
I think my heart just exploded.
Must hide behind my
Momma’s leg – I’m shy. Safe here.
Toddlers…all the same.
How I learned to dance.
Not just silverback, great ape,
But a heart of gold. .
No Rickrolling here.
That would be ridiculous.
Bleen bleen bleen monkey.
*Snigger* Theo, you said…. you said…. THE “B” WORD!!!!11111!!!!!
*Claps hand over mouth to stifle sniggers*
In the Mod Lounge, inspecting the fridge.
Anybody doing any baking today? It’s mid-morning here.
I have pretzel buns.
I like those, thanks Z.R.
It’s a day later now, but actually I am thinking about doing a loaf of multigrain.

Barnacle Baby
Playing peekaboo with you
Exploding your head.
a baby gorilla from a zoo
Rode on his mommas leg like a shoe
Though she danced all around
and pranced across the ground
He clung tight like his bottom was glued.
I know it is a lymeric and not a haiku… but i couldn’t resist.
no reason to resist! Lovely limerick!!
I cling everywhere.
Cause I have thumbs on my feet.
Toe-tally awesome!
toe-tally opposable toes FTW!!
Ook! The Librarian at Unseen University would be going completely librarian-poo about the monkey comments.
“How long have you been an ape, my man?”
“Ook.”
“Splendid.”
Just don’t say the “m” word!
You said the “m” word! *backs away quickly*
Baby holds on tight
Until big momma tells him
Go take a haik, u!
Teeeee Heeeee!
Huzzah! Bowing and I tip my hat.
Ohhh, very good, VERY good!!!! *clapping*
Baby still too small
To explore far without mom.
Rides on her safe leg.
