Thank you, CO. That’s the first time I’ve laughed all day.

  3. Mary (the first) says:

Yep, that was LOL funny, at the end especially. Very cute, for sure!

  4. Some dogs could just learn some self-respect!

  5. Theresa says:

You dare sproing at me? I’ll show you sproinging! I’ll sproing right back at you! :P

  6. Jenn in IL says:

    Bend it like Beckham!

  7. Ness says:

Pretty sure that’s a Brittany, not English Springer, but I suppose Springer makes a better joke…

  8. RosieLB says:

I <3 play bows. That is all

  9. Mrs.X says:

I love puppy ADD – sproing, sproing, sprouing, OOH wires! Let me chew!

  10. Theresa says:

“This chomping of wires and romping off in direction of camera, brought to you by Short Attention Span Theater.”

    • marthava says:

lolol I wish they’d had Short Attention Span Theater when I was growing up. I would have been The Star. :)

  12. Maureen from Canada says:

My cat loved to play with the doorstop – however it was usually around 2:30 in the morning!!!

  13. Tees says:

    Ahem… *Brittany* spaniel
    :D

    • Katie says:

Actually, Brits are no longer classified as spaniels. But they’re still awfully sweet doggies.

      • Lisa says:

They are absolutely the sweetest! I had one… miss her very much.

        • Katie says:

My dad had a brit when he was young. He’s not really an animal person, so I was surprised to hear him speak of her with so much affection. She must’ve been one very special dog.

          • Fird Birfle says:

            THEY ARE phenomenal.

Ours was Skipper. Only time I ever saw my dad (30 year Navy, captain)
cry, when Skipper’s life got to be mostly struggles rather than enjoyable, so we ended up deciding to let him go.

  14. SlaveToCat says:

Um….. why and how did someone put pink lipstick on the puppies backside?
Hopefully it wasn’t an ask kisser. ;P

  15. Kzgz says:

I also like at the end when there’s a sudden diversion to the phone wires.

Our kitty Schwitters used to ever so gently Boing the door stop when he was behind a closed door. He JUST BARELY pawed it enough to make it sproing. Very polite.

    • Theresa says:

Or ambivalent in that way that cats sometimes get. Have you ever seen a cat just gently pat something tentatively? Like they aren’t sure they want to touch it but SOMETHING just COMPELS them?

      • Wend says:

I LOVE that. It’s one of my favorite things about cats.

      • Kzgz says:

You mean the sideways extended paw tap? Yes, I love that. I also like the lifted paw, downward jab at something extremely suspect and possibly dangerous. (Though not as much because I don’t like them to be worried about anything – I have a hard time getting through the day because of concerns like that. :-} )

  16. SaraBeth Williams says:

Does anyone know why the videos don’t show up on an iPad?

    • Sharpy says:

      iPads don’t have Flash–?

    • Jay says:

The default iPad browser can’t play Flash content, like the videos.

You should look into buying the Photon browser from the app store. It has a mode you can switch to for using Flash. :) Now my primary browser on the iPad.

    • debg says:

Click through to the YouTube app and you’ll be able to see it.

    • Yaya says:

I can usually see the video on my iPad if I go to the comments page for it and play the video there. If I try to play it from the front page on my iPad, I get sound but no picture. (So something is working?!?)

I used to be able to play the videos from the main page on my iPad, so I don’t know what changed. Maybe when I updated the OS?

  17. I love the whole thing but especially at the endnwhen he bounds after the camera man.

  18. carol says:

My Brittany Boomer thinks that is one handsome puppers!

  19. Skip says:

Where is the door that that door stop stops?

  20. holly says:

Thats a Brittany spaniel….I can tell cuz they are WAY cuter

  21. That is so sweet and funny. LOL. :D

  22. Stella says:

Holy Muppet dance moves, Batman! :)

  23. Hmm, what’s this? *sproing* OMG sproing sproing sproing, hey what’s that, WIRES, nom nom nom oh wait there’s a guy over there, LET’S GO SEE HIM.

    • blair says:

while watching that i realized what i’d do if i won a quarter-billion dollars in the lottery:

      get a job as a puppy play-tester

  24. tracylee says:

was gonna say how cute this bounding and buttwiggling puppers is, but y’all already covered it for me. oh well, I’ll just keep watching this little cutie :)

  25. Rick says:

    I lol’d.

  26. Kim says:

My friend’s dog has trained his people to come and open the door for him to go outside when he does that. It’s like a reverse doorbell.

  27. kibblenibble says:

What made me squee was the ferocious growlings and the adorabuhl leetle tock area.

  28. Too cute to deal with. What an adorabuhl bebebe!

  29. Anne O'Brien says:

This is a Welsh, not an English, springer spaniel. So cute!

  30. Ann says:

Years ago, we had a Cocker Spanial that would do that to a door stop, but it was to let us know that he needed to go outside to use the bathroom.

  31. Ant says:

    I used to this too as a kid/child/callow. ;)

  32. Jan says:

Lol, so funny. Who needs to buy dog toys eh?? :D
