I just got Maru’s book for my birthday and there are pictures of Maru as a kitten in it! He looks just like Maru only tiny! It was a good birthday, except I ended up ded from teh qte of the Kitten-Maru.
1. Maru is my favorite cat in the whole world.
2. I kind of hope Maru’s owner has no job, because I’d like to think she just gets to sit there and watch Maru all day

I have scanned a goodly amount of Maru videos……;
Haowsumebber: I have never ever realized the true extent of Maru’s box problem;
I think he is quickly reaching the point of no return if someone does not intervene;
So I am suggesting we set up a Box-Rehab Fund for him and keep it very simple:
i.e. to contribute any spare pennies in our wallets; or collect the string our kittehs have grown tired of playing with, & the lint build-up in our pokkits: we can stockpile all that & take it all en masse to the nearest textile scrap-yard: I figure, if we play our cards right, we can make about $25.00 or so…..that might be enough for an initial down-payment for a low-priced kitteh-shrink……..! (or mebbe nawt…….!!)
Fortunately for us there is just no hope for Maru, he will never be able to resist any box for the rest of his life. The latest of Maru antics will always be my favorite ‘kitty-vid’.

What is it about this overweight cat that’s so stupid it wear boxes like boxers? I don’t know but he fascinates and enchants us.
