I think it’s a La Plata dolphin. They’re a lot smaller than the common Bottlenose dolphin, and this story comes from Uruguay, which is where they live.

Is it wrong that the first thing I saw was the guy’s giant elephant foot? It took me a second to realize there wasn’t some kind of extra underwater animal swimming by.
