Bar-Be-Curious

Mmmmm (sniff, sniff), he went with the mesquite charcoal this time, good choice…

(sniff, sniff) Is that a whiskey sauce he’s using? (sniff, sniff) No, it’s tomato-based, but with too much vinegar, that’s what confused me…

OK, time for the first flip… (sniff, sniff) Ooooooh yeeeeaaahhh, that’s heavenly…

We recently saw an all white racoon at a nature center in Ft. Myers, Fl. That was a really strange sight. Cute but also a little bit disturbing as well.

    Nosey.

    “This is TODALLY WICKED!!!!”

I love NTMTOM. I’m the master griller in my family and I think about these sorts of things all the time. I’d love to have a pooch like this keeping me honest.

Sigh. Did I mention I love NTMTOM?

I so badly want to know what the rest of this dog looks like! If he is anything like the nose, he must be adorable.

  11. Noelegy says:

There’s a house in my neighborhood where the privacy fence has small circular holes cut into it every few yards at a smallish dog’s eye level. :)

  12. kibblenibble says:

I love the softie little whiskers you can see peeking out the bottom… :-)
    (And I, too, love NOMTOM…)

  13. Martha in Washington says:

Is this by chance a St. Bernard? It looks like a St. Bernard nose. And if it is, you better open the gate cause he’ll be coming through that fence soon!

Add me to the list of NOMTOM’s admirers.

  14. lesley says:

I bet that whole fence bends when he inhales.

    The nose knows.

My mother’s Siberian Husky used to have a hole in the fence to look out. He would stick his head through for our neighbor to water him along with his lawn. Then he would return to the house with a wet head, the rest of him completely dry. He was a lunatic, that dog.

  20. ^oo^ says:

Knot whole or not hole? Or not whole or knot hole? The nose knows…

The lower lip, people! THE LOWER LIP!!!

  22. bookmonstercats says:

If he breathes in, he can have the barbie anyway, he’ll snorf up such a windstorm it’ll carry it all to him.

    Loves NOMTOM too.

    Waves to Theo.

It takes acertain kind of person to take a picture like this, I can’t even imagine me doing it, let alone coming up with the genius backstory-telling. My hat is permanently tipped to the Grand Master NTMTOM, and waves fingers at Theo (glad to see you, man!).

  28. Gail White says:

Godalmighty, I didn’t even recognize that as a nose. I thought it was the rear end of a porcupine or something. And rather obscene it looked, too.

  29. Carmel C says:

This is my boxer! I love this photo of him and yes to those who wonder he is just as cute as his nose leads you to believe! I was so excited today when I scrolled down and saw this!

Didn’t know you could make a fence out of dogwood – thought it was too brittle?
