How do you eat a strawberry as big as you are? One bite at a time.
“It seems like a hot pocket would be just as big as you are!”: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-87TLAEGt6Y
Cutesauce!
“Never eat anything bigger than your head.” Clearly not being heeded.
Not by a long shot. That thing’s about TEN TIMES as big as his head.
I miss Kliban!
Just for you:
“Love to eat them mousies,
Mousies what I loves to eat.
Bite they little heads off,
Nibble on they tiny feet.”
I had a mug with that on it, Theresa!
Those were my favorite pajamas…
What is that from?
That’ll last him a coupla days…..
That is the TEENY-TINIEST turtle I’ve ever seen!
Me too !
Or it’s the giant-est strawberry ever!
chop, chop, chop
Nommmmiiiinnnnnggg speeeeeeed….
NICE !!!!
The little turtle that could: I think I can…I think I can…I think I can…..yum!
I’ve been on a camping trip for the past couple of days, and my family’s campsite was pretty close to the river. So, after we spent the night, we went catfishing(fishing for catfish, not cats), but only caught one. We also found a little baby soft-shell turtle with a 1 1/2 inch shell diameter. And I thought the turtle WE found was small.
Here is some diner music for you Mr, McTurtleson
*wild applause*
ENH!!!
How cute is that wee little tortoise? Too cute for mere words!
This tortoise is Pacman.
ngang, ngang, ngang!
75 hours of strawberry orgasmic pleasure though!
Go little fella!
maybe it’s not your average strawberry…

I thought about it being a big strawberry, too. But big strawberries have bumps.and are sort of… sectioned, you know? This one doesn’t look like that at all.
Yes, I too thought it could be a big strawberry too, but fish eye makes a good point, and also, aren’t the seeds usually the same size, roughly? I dunno, I am no strawberry expert.
I promise it’s a regular ol’ strawberry. Kevin is just a little guy for now.
“Kevin”….what a great name for a turtle!
Kevin is adorable and I agree, great name!!
Say in Spongebob voice: “Hiiiiiiiii, Kevin!”
Haley, I am interesting in using your picture in an advertising campaign. Please check out my company’s website http://www.adparlor.com and email me at your convince. dustin.keller@adparlor.com

He’s a sulcata.
he’s a sulcata!
According to the original post on the Baaaaabyanimals group on Cute Overload by Haley, Kevin is a sulcata tortoise

Er, Baaaaabyanimals community on LiveJournal, not Cute Overload. I am fail.
I love that his name is Kevin. The caption says he tried, I guess the strawberry won?
Kevin has a facebook page now, too.

YAY Kev’s!!!!
That tortoise is having the best day EVER! Lookit his little face! He’s like, “Yeeeeessssss!”
Tortoises are the cutest chompers EVER! They just look so darn happy to be eating! They always open their mouths with a huge smile and excited eyes. Hee!
Oh my goodness gracious! The teensyness, the steely determination in the eyes, that square set jaw. I need this little guy. NOW!
Also my friends, that is the most perfect strawberry I think I’ve ever seen. Very worthy of being nommed by a tortoise, I must say!
Yeah, it’s really an amazing looking strawberry!

*waving* Hi, Teho!
What a fantastic photo! Such a happy and optimistic expression on that face. Love it.
My mom and I once found a little Desert Box Turtle stuck in a too-small hole near our house. We put him in our unused dog kennel and would feed him lettuce and such. One day we gave him a strawberry and he was hooked. He would take big huge bites and wouldn’t be able to close his mouth until he had worked on crushing the strawberry for quite a while. After that he’d never eat leaves unless he also got a strawberry.
He was also VERY fast and quite a runner. Sadly we set him free because someone scared us saying it was 100% totally illegal to keep one as a pet. A few years later we learn all you needed was a simple permit. He kept wandering around the house, snapping his jaw at us for nibbles.
Trying to eat a strawberry larger than you. Hmmmmm…….
Excuse me, Mr. Tortoise, I just wanted to tell you to try the other end of the strawberry for maximum nomming pleasure.
Maybe he eats his veggies first then goes for desert. I say just skip the veggies, you can’t live forever no matter what you do.
Gerald Durrell, anybody? “Strawberries, Achilles! Strawberries!”
I thought of that too
What a great story…
It’s a joke peoples… giant Claus Oldenburg fruit… tiny turtle. Sigh.

Teeny tineee toitle tongue!
I have a sudden urge for strawbs and cream with a dash of Bollinger……….or maybe a whole bottle of Bollinger…..
HA, “toitle.” Even funnier than “boids!”
Toitle, of course, is how Bugs Bunny pronounces it, which makes it awesome. Also, I suspect, my grandfather would have said “toitle” too, since he said “terlet.”
Looks like me going after the marbled cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory last week. Thank god the cheesecake was inside a glass cake, it wouldn’t have been pretty.
glass cake?! o.O
muy crunchy, si?
I just love how turtles look like bald little old men with no teeth
Hiiiiigh hopes, he’s got hiiiiiigh hopes.
High apple (or strawberry) pie in the sky hopes!
I saw a wee tortoise being fed by his tortoise-sitters, and she was just like that – open mouth and aim a chomp. It seemed frustrating to an onlooker – sort of like you wanted to hold the food for them – but she got the job done.
My ideal would be to have a mini tortoise and a mini hedgehog combo, so I could reproduce my favorite Just So story – does anyone else know the one I mean? About where armadillos came from?
かわああいいいい!
omg this turtle is so cute!
That’s it, I’m getting a wee tortoise just so I can feed it giant strawberries.
TAG FAIL???
C’mon …. no “I’m going to Eat You” Tag FOR THIS??? Whut the heck is the POINT of the Tags, then????????
Signed,
Outraged & Indignant
You tell ‘em Fird…yer totally correct in yer indignation over this obvy oversight!
Bite me!
Looking forward to the sequel:
Leetle teeny turtle-farts that smell like strawberries.
That’s either a very tiny tortie or a very big berry!
I can hear the ehning from here!
It’s amazing, no matter how big or how little those turtles are they look so ferocious when they are eating
. Cute little goomer.

I call for an “I’m going to eat you” tag.
I had to super enhance that little head. What a great expression! “i adores this berry. I will eat it UP!”
