50’s High School Memories

Ah, those were the best days of our lives. Dad lent me the keys to the wheel, and me and Becky Sue shared a lemon fizz before heading over to the “Enchantment Under the Sawdust” dance at Habitrail High School…

Katie S. says: “The video of two bunnies fighting over a water bottle was cute, but my gerbils actually drink from their bottle simultaneously! Sprocket’s on the left and Spigot is on the right.” Wait, isn’t the spigot in the middle?

  1. adorable!

  2. now is ze time vhen ve dance!

  3. Yess! Sprockets!

  4. “Early Habitrail” was the architectural style of my brother’s college dorm.

  5. Fird Birfle says:

  6. In my day we walked five miles through the snow, uphill both ways, AND WE LIKED IT!

  10. hrh.squeak says:

Oh, what beautiful shiny fur! Lovely little gerbils.

  11. “you’re my density….” back to the future FTW! cute little fellers.

  12. Squee!! GERBIES!! Hardly ever are there pics of gerbs! 🙂 My gerbils (Dusty and Terry) are VERY fond of shredded wheat. If I don’t give them each a piece simultaneously, then they are like the Pushme-Pullyou, except with their heads facing each other! It’s hysterical! They’ve actually walked around the cage like that until I took pity on them and intervened. Gerbils are such interesting pets! 🙂

  13. victoreia says:

And we were grateful to be going to school! Uppity young whippersnappers!

  14. AWW love Gerbils!! and love Monty Python/ Pete and Dud references in names and posts!!

  15. I had two guys that did *everything* together.. Sleep, eat, drink (like this, at the same time), and run the wheel…

Identical twins leading identical lives.. together. D’aww.

  16. LOL!

  17. Looks like muskrat, er gerbil, loooooove……

  18. Whenever I give my pet rats bits of food, they will fight over one piece and ignore the other.

  19. Mmmm, it’s gerbilicious!
