Well, not being a dog expert, I wasn’t sure about the “same breed” thing but didn’t see a resemblance. Given that, I agree the little one says “Please, sir, I apologize for encroaching” and the big one’s thinking, “Well, in that case, you’re forgiven. Maybe.”
Wee one is a chihuahua!! And my chi’s do the same pose when they want to play! I think they figure they are small enough without doing the play-bow that other dogs do, so they do a play-curl!
I’m a sucker for puppy eyes…and how the teeny doggie’s paw is posed mid-air! He’s like, “I’m far too kyoot and you cannot resist mah precious peepers, doggone it!”
