Pup’s all: yeah you hoomans aren’t this evolved.

  4. Pinchy says:

Vitalic’s video for “Birds” also combines dogs and the Phantom HD in a similarly amusing fashion.

  5. kibblenibble says:

    …ffllop…ffllip…ffllop…ffllip…

  6. Guinea Peeg Lover says:

Man, I wish I had one of those Phantom Cameras. The things I could do with it… I wonder what a guinea pig sneeze looks like in slow motion?

  7. MamaMclain says:

Can they make this into a screensaver? -iz hypnotized-

  8. Lorel J says:

If John Derek were still alive, he’d marry this pup and make it a movie star.

  9. My thoughts during this video:
    1 Wow…
2 It looks like s/he’s trying to give him/herself a hug with his/her ears!

  10. MudBug says:

Whoa ! Be careful with those things before somebody pokes an eye out !
    Dang that was cool !

  11. emmberrann says:

For me, it’s watching the evolution of the revolution of the epidermis — dog flips his head and his face follows a sec later, and his ears fly a little later, his neck a little after that, and then his body, all the way down…… It ain’t exactly Drip dry, it’s a little more Flip dry! Luv eet.

  12. sara-bell says:

I want to see it done to the Farrah Fawcett hair shake.
    Perhaps an Afghan Hound?

    • Jedi Arasi says:

Yes! I’d love to see a full-coated Afghan Hound shake! …Can we leave suggestions somewhere for the person filming it?

    • mplsmom says:

      Yes!..or a sheep dog…wow, I wonder what a Sharpei would like ???

  13. debg says:

I wish my ears were long enough to do this.

  14. 260Oakley says:

Sing it with me: “Whip my ears back and forth…”

  15. dub1 says:

    Helicopter ears!
Hope to see more, but with a different background colour/lighting to make the glistening drops stand out.
And Bugs Bunny sound effects [fwup/bink/splort/puhtang].
What would be the best breed: perhaps a Puli? maybe a Mastiff? mayhap a Mexican Hairless (no, shhh) peut-etre un Pom?

    • emmberrann says:

Howzabout a Newfie? They are pretty awesome at this shakin’ stuff, and their skin is loose enough to let the water drops fly, and they have droopy flews and they drool, and stuff – or maybe a Neapolitan Mastiff? They’re pretty wrinkly, too! It’s fun to speculate!

  16. Gigi says:

The music perfectly complement the action. A+++

  17. Katie says:

I love seeing the motion move from the front of the doggie to the hindquarters :)

  18. PJ says:

Oh wow. I watched it five times in a row and now I feel kinda hungry. Anybody got Twinkies? Funions? Microwave burritos?

  19. taj says:

I love the thought process in this:

“What should I do with my $100,000 high speed über fancy professional camera?

    PUPPIES!!!”

    • Madame X says:

But of course puppies! What else would you use a $100,000 high-speed über fancy professional camera for? Well sure, you *could* use it for kittens, too. Puppies and kittens. And duckies. And guinea peegs. Maybe hamsters. But not baby sloths – they don’t need slowing down.

Okay, budgies and baby chicks, too, but that’s it!

      • Wend says:

Oooh, watching a Cockatiel do their trademarked crest-to tailfeather shake; I would love to see that in slowmo!!

        • Lerrinus says:

Couldn’t find him shaking, maybe you’ll find it easier than me, i dunno! Here’s what I found :

      • mie says:

Hmm, could we deduce from this that baby sloths *already have* $100,000 high-speed über fancy professional cameras built into them??? O.O

      • Lerrinus says:

        Here’s your guinea pig! :

  20. bob drummond says:

Yeah , I tend to agree with all the above. Lets have more of this stuff but with
different breeds or diff.species. All of them in slow motion. Oooooooh,Baby, I
    like it like that !!

  21. Anita says:

    Watch those pup-pellors spin!!!

  22. Moi, Actually says:

His eyeballs stay stationary while his body moves around. Amazing.

  23. So pumped that our video for Fluke (and our pup!) made cuteoverload!

This is little miss CareyNickels – She’s a smooth coat, black and tan mini-dachshund. At the time of filming she was 6 months old…she’s the best and we love her!

Here’s the original video this came from if you’re interested: http://youtu.be/W4s2UwKm7dc

[Mod: it's the same video as the one on the post... i thought we'd get a peek at the really, really rawr footage :( ]

  24. mie says:

Love the hind-leg wiggle at the end. Also, very zen-like, seeing as the ears form nearly perfect yin-yang circles!

  25. That is like poetry…. awww!

  26. Gigi59 says:

So THAT’S what long puppy ears are actually used for!

  27. TK says:

    Oh, the ear floppiness!

  28. Katrina says:

Can you tie ‘em in a knot? Can you tie ‘em in a bow?

  29. Arielle says:

    here’s a bulldog shaking off: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jsp_Nn02yro

    it’s jowltastic!

  30. luvstehQte says:

all i could think was, with the right music, this could be the perfect addition to “puppies are the new porn.” XD

    • bargles says:

Yeah, frankly I thought the music was weeeeeeeird…. :-/

      It was like… is… this… porn music? No wait… it’s a grade 6 science video music!!! No wait… whaaat?

  31. blair says:

i totally 1080p’d on the carpet over that

  32. claudia says:

    very cool

  33. Beth says:

Note the cyclonic action, rivaling a Dyson vacuum…

  34. Starfish says:

Reminds me of that show “Time Warp”, on the Discovery Channel. They had an episode with different breeds doin’ the shake (also a dude, who wasn’t quite as graceful).

  35. Catsquatch says:

    LOL!

His ears got that whole ying/yang thing goin ;D

  36. debkakes says:

    Floopy muzzlepousch!

  37. goldin says:

I love the soft porn music to go along with cutie patootie

  38. Teresa in KC says:

This reminded me of the old Peanuts specials where Snoopy used his helicopter ears as a mode of transportation. Lovely!

  39. JazzBuster says:

    “Do the puppy-puppy shake, now…”
How come he doesn’t knock himself out, or cause an injury? Kinda reminds me of Dolly Parton’s comment about why she could do ballet..said jumpin’ up and down like that she’d black both her eyes…
maybe I’ll try this next time I bath the cat. She poses for still shots but hates the video camera.

  40. meggy says:

It is the cosmic pupdog at the center of the galaxy that sets everything in motion!

  41. cofreak says:

I LOVE the part where doggie licks nose!!!
