Cute Overload :D
Nobody light a match. (hands out hazmat suits)
Sender-inner and foster parent, Tania says this is 3 week old Truffle at Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue, VOKRA. Take a look if you dare!
Looks like early onset SPS to me!
Oh, and boop!
OMG Sooo tiny and so Sweet.. Reaches out finger to gently stroke outstetched paw… Leans over and plants gentlest of kisses on kittens tiny Head.
As a long time admirer of VOKRA in Vancouver Yayyy!! (The link to their site from the picture is broken though, I know they’d love all CO’ers to be able to visit…) I’ve trapped many a cat and kitten and handed over to their safekeeping, always lots of fuzzies looking for luv……….
The good people of VOKRA can be found at:
AWW Another kitty that made me nearly break my fingers on my monitor Oh, If, I could little kitty, I would adopt you I would have to ask my brother and his friend about adopting another kitty
*shoves kitten into mouth
I took a look at the website and am sorry I did because already there are kittehs there I want to adopt and I can’t but I’m sending love to all and especially this little tidbit here! Sigh.
Which is why I’m expressly *not* looking–I already have the maximum allowed by our apartment association. Plus, I live in the middle of the Pacific.
It looks like a tiny, little grey tiger kitten. Wubs tiger kitten… <3
It will be a cute explosion, mind ya.
Aw, he looks so cute and fuzzy! I wanna rub him against my cheek… (-:
Is that frizz, fuzz or floof?
I guess it’s a grey area.
Hey, someone grab Scarletgunn’s nose, and when they can’t breef the wee gray one will pop out and I’ll resqte it! AND I’ll share! Honest! I will… Yea…Share… *shifty eyes*
Victoreia, I’m with you… I own my house, but I’ve got three Kitty Elders in here, two of them special needs Elders, who would NOT deal well with a wee one… *sigh* So I’ll have to wait until they go over the Rainbow bridge before I can resqte another one… BUT in the meantime, I’ll enjoy my Elders…
Is it me, or do those wee ear flaps look like gumdrops? *noms gently on one*
victoreia: I’m rather visualizing a tiny one-bedroom island,
with two palm trees and a hammock for your bedroom????
i think they ARE gumdrops. nom on….
it appears that his hind legs are buckling under the weight of his milk-fed tumular girth. go easy on those meelkshakes, truffie.
It’s a catspiracy!! My husband has been bugging me this week to adopt 2 kittens that one of my coworkers has to give and you guys keep showing photos and video of kittens.
We still have 4 cats in the house that’s plenty, right? Help me out here, 4 is enough right?
I just wish I hadn’t seen photos of them…marmies…with blue eyes!!!
aura of kitteh fur
Frisker: fuse-y AND fuzzy!
And what more purrfect name for something sized to pop in one’s mouf than Truffle!
What a great way to spend a hot Caturday! Also, this could be a fantastic fundraiser for any Rescue group! Just set up a monitor and camera at your event with on side of the inclosure wall being a slip in/out of any catature- er- caricature and it will draw attention to your adoption booth. The movements of curious cute cats will always do the trick!
I love the name Truffle!!!!!
I second this observation.
“Hi, my name is Leslie and I’m a cataholic [AS WELL as a catholic ]” ….
I want a nibble
I have 5 indoor cats and 3 outdoor cats. You can never have too many. I thought 4 were enough too until this itty bitty kitty was at my house the night before an 18 inch snowstorm. Well …… 4 turned into 5 and there is no difference lol.
O Hai, Leslie: I yam a practicing cataholic and also a Catholic……!
Wut a coinkeedinkee…!
(finding this out haz brightened my day already…!. ♥
why don’t we link arms and skip down the street… ♪♫♪♫♫♫♪♪
la la la la la
On fourth observation of this lil’ guy/ gal, I’m realizing that he/she really has *QUITE* the Tummy Ackshon goin’ on …. even almost “blorp”-worthy
Gigi, do you want to be talked IN to this or OUT of this? I’m good at both, and I’ve got 6 purry babies.
Definitely meelks belly going on there and Puss in Boots eyes too!
Just remember “Anything worth doing is worth doing to excess.”
Now granted I have 7 kids (cats) but I also always have at least two to cuddle up with any time I take a cat nap or go to sleep at night. (not including my hubby)
Besides it’s all kinds of fun to stand in any room & call out “where’s my kids?”
to have them come running from all over the house to see what “mommy” wants. ;oD
“John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt,
His name is my name, too,
Whenever we go out,
The people always shout,
“There goes John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmidt!”
A la la la la la la . . . . etc.”
Uh-oh. I’d better give him a kiss and a snuggle. I think he looks kind of upset. Prolly ’cause his ears haven’t poked all the way out yet.
Uh oh the link on the main page is broken, i found it at http://www.orphankittenrescue.com/ someone musta had klutzy fingers hehe. Truffle is adorable!!!!! and only 3 weeks old he/she looks so ready to scamper and shred the curtains LOL!!!!
PPS: Kitten claws, peeps. RAWR!
Hey! My cat Albert says that all the time to me. He hides behind and/or under things and then when I unsuspectingly walk by, he leaps STRAIGHT up and out with claws extended and yells, “Raaaaawwwrrrr!” (It’s actually pretty scary. gulp.)
I have one of those! Was a couple months before her stripes really showed up. I met her at two weeks old and she looked much like this.
good lord that is some serious whiskerpuss ackshoine!
*big loud smooch on baybeh kitteh head*
@mudbug, that’s my new favorite expresshe! it has a corollary, made famous by “coach bob” in the excellent john irving novel ‘hotel new hampshire’, “you gotta get obsessed, and stay obsessed.”
Maggie said “Myep” to me last night. I picked her up and that was what emerged from her mouf.
Well, I’m glad you commented on it. Someone had to. I was going to. TRUFFLE?!?! How silly and yet how precious.
A friend of mine in GA is owned by a Sharpei (or partial Sharpei; I don’t have the full data) named Angus.
Evidently this dogue frequently says “erm”.
I LOVE odd-lingo animaux!!!
@ la Therese:
Heh. My Murphy (big black kitteh) is quite a talker, and hubby was “meowing” back at him today. They went back and forth for some time, and after a while I commented that Murphy sounded as though he were gently correcting hubby’s pronunciation.
Kind of like a turkey timer?
Yeah! Like that! But with pointy, kitty ears. Also, I’ll never, ever forget how my sister re-named the scientific term for a litter of kittens. She one day looked at a litter of kitties and said, “Oh! Look! Oodles and oodles of skoodle boodles!” The best part of this story is that, no, she wasn’t a little kid when she said that. She was in her 30s.
LOL, that’s great!! If it’s not the scientific term, it SHOULD be.
silent but deadly…
so cute so cute so cute hu
Yay! VOKRA is amazing and they need donations!! I got my 4 monsters from VOKRA and I volunteer for them from time to time. Donate!!!
