Do you see the creepy disembodied monkey head? CANNOT UNSEE. It’s creeping me out so bad I turned it to the wall for today and I love guinea peegs D:
To see it (warning: cannot unsee): Find the horizontal swoosh of fur on the peeg’s chest. That’s the mouth. There’s a drooping piece of white from his “moustache” on the side closest to the screen. There’s the nose. And then the peeg’s mouth makes the creepy furrowed, eyeless brows of the monkey.
I don’t have the calendar or I’d check it out for you. >_< I do remember having a similar reaction when I realized I could see a disembodied set of eyes in my posters of Asia album covers.
omg, in high school my friend used to point out the creepy faces made by the wood grain on her closet doors. very scream-esque (both the edvard munch classic painting and the 90′s screen gem). also could not unsee, and very unsettling when you’re trying to sleep in the middle of the night and you’re a high-strung 15 year old…

Did I just hear seventeen verses of ‘La Marseillaise?’ My goodness, that’s patriotism! I’m in Canada and ve have ze Fronche here, but nevaire knew zer ver so manee. Incroyable! (I’m an anglo, so my French she isn’t so good – no offence meant.)
Le jour nationale du Canada, c’est le premier juin, pas le quattorze juillet! For all of ze anglophones – the national day for the Canada, this is the 1 June, not the 14 Juliette, um, July. (I always wanted to write the month like that before I learned my fronche calendrier, *snerk*!)
Uhh.. – le jour nationale du Canada, c’est le premiere Juilette, n’est-ce-pas Juin. (Wow, I wrote in French, sort of.) Our national holiday, Canada Day, is just before your Independence Day, July 4th – we’re kinda like cousins, don’t you know.
That tailio will turn into a spectacular ostrich plue of fluff soon. Lucy’s tail looked like that when she was a baybeh and is now glorious and fluffy and works just fine.
I just wanted to let you know that the “ingks” meme has taken over my life. One of our dogs was barking last night after I’d retired to the bedroom for the evening. I came out to get some water to drink, and said something very silly to the dogs, to the effect of, “Why is there barkingks? There does not need to be barkingks.”
