Oof! Grr! Yay, I Did It!

When he fell down the stairs: You got me trippin, ow stumbling, ow flippin, ow fumbling~~
Zoom in! Zoom in!!
Yes! I want to see a close up of his cute widdle face!
Whereas I want to see more of that ADORABLE chubb!! <3
Yes pleease! And his cutsey bootaye!
Awww! Well done, chubby pup!
I love the puppy victory dance after he makes it to the bottom!
Me too! He’s so proud of himself!
Absolutely. Too cute.
Boom baby fall down.
So funny! I couldn’t help thinking he could just step onto the grass and go up and down really easily, but nooOOOoooo.
Cute McChubbersons.
I was thinking that, too! It certainly would make those tumbles hurt a lot less.
Adorable puppy!
“shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! don’t tell ‘im!~!!”
The sproings. The fatliness. It’s all too much.
Couldn’t have said it better myself
OMG that last leap off the bottom step and his delight with himself just made my morning. HEhehehe!
Me too– he’s all, “Oh, yeah, I’m da man!”
I love that he’s such a fast learner. He falls down the first step, awkwardly jumps down the second, then LEAPS in triumph down the third!
Ohhhh Yay for you ::Claps Hands:::
You will Love being a MOM .. Well I did anyway.. just remember to soak up every momment they grow really fast and before you know it they will be leaving for College.
Lol at that *gasp* at the first step downward, baby just tumbling down. Also, is it just my ears, or is there some weird echo on the “he’s growing” comment? ..omment? ..mment? …ent? …ent? …t? …t? …?
ALSO, Butterbutt!! http://cuteoverload.com/2009/12/30/butterball-attempts-to-go-down-stairs/

Now I love Stephen Schwartz as much as the next person, but he’s hardly a paragon of cutliness. So I just have one thing to say: Huh???
But Mr. Schwartz is not in the pic. I think Firdie just meant it as a picture of an applauding audience.
yes. yes that was my intent.
Thanks, Mme Th. for explicating my philosophical purpose, while I was (ahem) attending a seminar.
*sigh*
Some days I think I not born “skreeking da Engrish”.
Ohhhhhhhh. Now I get it. Thanks for the explication, Theresa! (And Stephen Schwartz DOES rock. Pippin is the BEST musical ever!!!)
i specifically look for your comments…i find you quite hilarious and that chubby puppy is way cute!
I will love him and squeeze him and call him George! Seriously!
My immediate thought upon watching this was “I WANNA PICK HIM UP AND SNORGLE THE HECK OUT OF HIM.” He just looks so compactly skooshable, if that makes sense.
I loved how the owner gasped and nearly put down the camera to help at that first stumble, but then seemed to think “He’s alright, he needs to learn”. And then the pup’s leap of joy after he makes it down that last step. Awws all around.
Yes exactly. She had a panic’d momma moment then suddenly reigned herself in, “OMGWAITBABYOh.. okay.. you’re fine…you can do it!”
So freaking cute. I love their little pudgy tummeh’s and cute little tushies. ARGH. Bulldog puppehs y’all slay me.
Seriously I think my parents had to tell me that ‘even if the stranger offers you a puppy you can’t go with them’ Candy.. who cares.. but puppies… ARGH
Eh, personally I can suddenly understand why some people insist on carrying their pups under their arms or in their purses.
But, 95% of the dogs that I know wouldn’t put up with that sort of molly-coddling. LIfe is meant to be sniffed, barked at and eventually gnawed.
Thank you Kar – I am sure my Ben would agree with you but once – he was – in a brief shining moment – all plump and chubbular – and so darned cute – he was the one they invented Cuterrific for in my never very humble opinion. I just couldn’t put the lil bugger down I just had to cuddle him – when he became too big for sharing my chair – he used to curl up at my feet and get as close as he could.
I’m not sure that they ever thing that they’re too big for a chair or a lap. Unless of course, they break it.
The chair I mean.
*sigh* I’ve been having a really bad morning, and I’ve only been awake for 30 minutes. This, however, put a big smile on my face. Little guy persevering so hard and finally making it both -down- and -up- again! Go little guy!
*hugs* Here’s hoping the rest of the day goes better for you! <3
the rolls! THE ROLLS!!
Yes! Those chub-rolls are lethal!!!
Use your wings, li’l bulldog Cherub!
those fat rolls! he looks like a tiny little walrus.
*strolls down the hall, singing “he is the Walrus, koo-koo Ka Choo!!!” *
*hauls out the Beatles collection*
You guys at C.O. are KILLIN’ ME ! I have about 3 1/2 weeks before we move into a house where we can get a new puppy! I can just hear all the folks saying :
“well just don’t look ” Yeah, like that’s a possibility ! With chub rolls like that on my computer I’m supposed to resist looking ??? HAH ! Like that’s ever
going to happen ! Keep ‘em coming Meg & crew ! The torture hurts SO good !!!
( scrolling back up to watch the triumphant leap from the third step now)
And you’re gonna tell us about your new puppy when you get him/her, right?
Right?
Are you kidding ? The only person that could stop me would be
Meg & I can’t think of anything that I’ve done to make her mad enough to do that ! I plan on telling the entire world & C.O. is a huge part of my world !
Captain Chublicious rides again!
I think that this is a new edition of the activity where one is instructed to insert a Round Peg into a Square Hole ….sorta …..
bulldog pup = Round Peg; angular stairway = Square Hole.
SO cute! I keep watching it. Life is so hard for an adorable puppy
His wrinkularity leaves me weak with squee.
Hahaha! Well said.
He’s barely any bigger than the height of a step! I’d have a hard time climbing steps that were as tall as I was, too!!!
“My old nemesis…. STAIRS.”
The little growls! The pacing back and forth! The determination!
I love him. <3
oh my goodness what an adorable little plumpy pup!!! eeep!
Did y’all notice on his way back up, on the top step he has to take a detour to vanquish a threatening leaf on the left side of the step, before moving on to the top? He’s pretty darn fierce, is what I’m sayin’.
Save a dog this weekend!

“July 15-17, 2011, shelters and rescue groups everywhere are holding what could be the largest adoption event in history. Over 1,500 shelters and rescue groups are holding special adoption events to celebrate Petfinder.com’s 15th birthday — and more than 17 million adoptions since 1996.”
I remember the first time my lab made it up the stairs by himself. I was SO proud. That was a looong time ago. Now he’s so old he has to go DOWN the stairs super slow, lol.
I also love Mom’s GASP at :06. So many of these vids are just folks watching. I love how she gasped but stopped herself to let him do it. Good job, Mom!
‘xactly. I gasped with her! So refreshing to feel/hear/see the worry from pet-parents and not just the camera rolling.
I love the way he has to double back on himself to turn around
Saved by the chub rolls. *polite clap clap*
IS THIS MT KESKO OR VESUVIUS-HUH??
He’s so sausagie
very nice comparison
BLORP!!!!
