Come on out! It’s CATURDAY NIIIIGHT!

Nice spy cam, Victoria B.

  1. Music blasting in the background:::

    Caturday.. Caturday caturday night’s alright…

    Puppy opens cage .

well come on out and lets get this party started!

  2. OMG i am stuck in moderasuns lounge for my corgi party :(

  3. Theresa says:

    ¿Mojito? ¿Mojito aquí? :D

  4. Fird Birfle says:

Here Kittyadv — here is an appetizer tray for you to sample:

  5. SO SMART!! Brilliant…..

  6. 260Oakley says:

    The Crate Escape

  7. Theresa says:

    Very cagey.

  8. Standing O to both of you. :)

  9. tracylee says:

I still swoon over Steve McQorgi

  10. mamabear says:

Sneaky little rascal! I absolutely love when the big one just walks away all ‘I didn’t do nuthin’. Brilliant!

  11. kibblenibble says:

    I know! :-) SO casual!

  12. I thought he was casually saying, “You can take it from there.”

  13. I love how casual they both are about the whole thing. They’ve clearly done this before. Ha.

  14. …whistles the theme from The Great Escape

  15. Mary (the first) says:

I thought the same.. the perp just casually wanders off as if nothing has happened, and the escapee nonchalantly opens up the door a few seconds later as if there’s no relation of the recent visitor to the newly opened door.. too funny!

  16. Fird Birfle says:

It’s always the same. The cute ones can get away with *ANYTHING*

  17. jlamusings says:

I think there is a delicate balance to living with hoomins that pets have perfected:

some cute + some naughty= balanced life with some hoomin attenshions but not too much

too cute + no naughty= too much attenshions!

not cute enough + very naughty= looking for a new home

  18. mintyheart says:

kinda reminds me of paranormal activity… creepy >_>

  19. C! A!

  20. 嵐? :D

  21. My furkids do this. My one year old lets the 6 month old out all the time. XD

  22. Fird Birfle says:

Obvy, they read the How to Manage Your Human(s) Manual. :)

  23. LunaChickFringe says:

Dot Matrix? Love the ReBoot reference. I loved that show!

  24. Schirn Johansen says:

Me too! Us geeks need to stick together!

  25. Lerrinus says:

    Where’s Frisket? ;-)

  26. Is it a ReBoot reference or a Spaceballs reference?

  27. LunaChickFringe says:

For me it’s a Reboot ref because I never saw Spaceballs…nor do I have any desire to…

  28. warrior rabbit says:

Gasp! But it’s Mel Brooks! Not his best, but still plenty funny. (Mel Brooks is a god. A comedy god.)

  29. Tall girl says:

That dog is named dot matrix?! Hilariousness!

  30. One of the smartest breeds ever. Loves me some corgis.

  31. *flails arms in joy*

    SMART puppies :)

  32. Fird Birfle says:

    *enjoys the word “flails”*

  33. cyberpunkrocker says:

    Esacapist corgi is escaping

  34. cyberpunkrocker says:

Um… it should be ‘escapist’… sorry.

  35. victoreia says:

    ROTFLMAO!!!1!!!!!!!1!!!

(Why, no, I am not amused. Why do you ask?)

  36. Fird Birfle says:

    *is amused*

  37. If that’s not a “Lassie” moment I don’t know what is !

  38. Theresa says:

    Caturday Night!!

  39. warrior rabbit says:

    Where’s Mr. Peanut?

  40. Ferris and Dot Matrix?? Oh my, that’s a child of the eighties if I’ve ever seen one!!!

(…not having seen ReBoot, i choose to believe the name comes from the movie Spaceballs)

  41. Stressfactor says:

Since no one else has done it yet…..

    That is all.

  42. Also, love the fact that this obviously isn’t the first time this has happened, hence the spy-cam to see how dot mysteriously gets out of her cage everytime she’s left there.

  43. Theresa says:

yeah I was thinking Spaceballs, too.

  44. Bookwolf says:

How come biggun is allowed to wander at will and the puppy isn’t? Is it a toilet training thing? Never had puppies, so am ignorant!

  45. …gone off to raid the cat bowl.

  46. Guinea Peeg Lover says:

I wonder how many times the littler Corgi had to get out of his cage before they decided to set up the camera?

  47. junemrc says:

it’s a good thing dogs like this don’t have thumbs, or they would be UNSTOPPABLE.

  48. OK, Ferris let Dot Matrix out of her cage, but who let Ferris out of his cage?

  49. wonder if they have an octopus

  50. I know octopi have no hard skeleton and are quite “squishy” (scientific term), but how did that not somehow scrape the octopus’ eyeballs?

  51. luvstehQte says:

ok, i’m now offish TERRIFIED of octopi! as if that face-sucking scene from the movie octopussy wasn’t enough!

  52. Fird Birfle says:

maybe this octopus item will be of some healing???
    hope so.

  53. Tribute to Corgi Naughtiness

Our dog’s a corgi – the kind from Wales,
You know, the ones without any tails.
But I’ve never seen him miss it,
    “Cept when he’s done something illicit;
Cause then he has nothing to put ‘tween his legs,
When, cowering, he for our forgiveness begs.
And those times are few and far between –
A corgi is not a penitent being.

  54. luvstehQte says:

    *applause* (*apaws?*)

  55. Fird Birfle says:

    :) @ “appawse”

  56. Corgis are too freaking smart, as this clip shows. :-) It’s a little scary living with dogs who are as smart as toddlers … :-)

  57. Who let the dogs out. Woof! Woof!

  58. Wow, I feel old. I was thinking Thin Lizzy.

  59. Me too, me too.

  60. SheepishKitty says:

he could at least close the door behind him, no manners!

  61. i wonder.

has the queen seen this yet?

  62. victoreia says:

I have to admit, the title made me think of the opening line of John Denver’s “Toledo, Ohio” song (slightly paraphrased…..)

    “Caturday night, in Toledo, Ohio….”

  63. Sneaky corgis! so typical. They always work in pairs, too.

  64. The outside one totally knows exactly what he is doing. If he only knew “if i mess around with this thing it opens after a while” it would be impressive. But that is not the whole story. The way he leaves even before the door is “proved” to be unlocked means he knew exactly what to do with the lock, and also when the task have been completed. He didnt even need to check if the other guy could get out.

  65. Catherine says:

Crating a dog is definitely not cute. Where on earth did this bizarre horrible idea come from? It appears to be only an American thing – other first world countries would never do this to their pets.

  66. german

so true. in germany only flying dogs need to be kenneled.

    c'est ne pas un pipe

not the fronsche! (Ceci n’est pas une pipe)

    mWAH! bella!

of course the italian version is nicer than most american homes and they’re called “dog boxes” (or “dog gardens” for the squeamish)

    stupid americans!

  67. Fird Birfle says:

    heh heh
I’ll take “ceci n’est pas une pipe”, FTW, Alex!!!! :)

    Surrealism R Us

  68. that one was just for you, fird!
