      Terrific. Radiant. Humble.

      • Noelegy says:

I thought of Wilbur, but I also thought of Babe.

        “I want my mum!”

        • CathyDee says:

“She called us all the same. She called us ‘Babe.’”

Just needs the little toupee on top!

    • CathyDee says:

After scrolling through all of those pages (WEENIE RACES!) to find the piggy pic, I discovered that the photographer lives in my hometown. Therefore, I will not have to drive too long to track down this little piggy, steal him, and name him Wilbur. We’ll skip the part about the spider, even if she is an excellent writer.

    Itty bitty piggy!!!!!

  13. Nikki says:

Oh my gosh. That is officially the sweetest little piglet photo series I have ever seen. What a gorgeous leeetle peeg!! There is a photo in the set of little Belle wrapped up in a pink blanket that turned me into a puddle of goo. I must go off now and try to reform myself into a solid…

  14. RosieLB says:

    EEP!

  15. Shari says:

I’m glad I can still surprise myself, even in my middle-to-old age. I just HAD to stroke this guy right on his bristley li’l head, and realized, “Hey! That’s not his head, you goof, that’s your computer monitor!”

Yeah, I stroked his head anyway. And I think we both feel better now!

  17. Mocha says:

It’s pictures like these that make me feel guilty about being a semi-vegetarian–I generally avoid eating meat but when faced with bacon I’m such a weakling. On the one hand, it tastes so good. On the other hand, that wee little schnozzle! Those beady eyes! The teensy ears! How can I possibly eat a piggy? :’(

    • Sharpy says:

it’s a fair bet the Pork Council was not a fan of Babe.

      • Noelegy says:

You know there is a spinoff cookbook from the “Babe” movies, right? I own it. It is to squee for.

  18. Theresa says:

  20. mamabear says:

Why? Why?! WHY is it so cute?!!

It’s crazy cute! It defies nature!

Nothing is this cute, not even my boys when they were adorable bald bebehs!

  21. A. Non! says:

If there’s any hope of getting people to stop eating bacon, this is it.

  22. Emmberrann says:

How come this peeenk peeeeggeeeee is so teeny? How old was peeenk peeeggeee when photo was took? It is definitely a paragon of peeenkness, particularly when circumferated by the peeenk bankie. I am definitely overwhelmed. And glad I keep kosher.

  23. Emmberrann says:

    Eep! I’m in moderayshe!

  24. edmundh says:

  25. luvstehQte says:

I just became a vegetarian and the brochure that pushed me over the edge had a photo very similar to this one on the cover, along with some really attractive produce.

Lucky for me, most of my favorite junk foods are completely based on chemicals, so I’m all good, :)

    • Noelegy says:

I was a vegetarian for nearly ten years. I went back to eating some meat because I found out I was diabetic, and all the stuff I used to fill up on–potatoes, pasta, rice–I could no longer eat in the quantities I used to. I still don’t eat red meat (no beef or pork) but I admit I like my poultry and fish. I’m not claiming to be righteous because of this, but every once in a while I see pictures like this and it makes me want to reach for the tofu all over again.

      • JerilynS says:

Ditto; vegged out from age 12 to age 32. Then pregnancy did s/t to my resolve and I added poultry to the mix. But I keep threatening my meat-and-potatoes DH to go vegan. And pix like this will be what pushes me over the vegan edge!

Want to snogle leetle peegy tummy so much!!!

  26. Kar says:

I know I’ve said this before, but are we sure that this isn’t from Gund or Steiff?? That can’t be that cute and real.

  42. Fird Birfle says:

    *wipes perspiration from forehead*
*WHEW!!! MAN this pic is adorable to me on top of the letterhead. For some reason, the little baldie GP had a creepy factor to me; each time opening up the page. THIS GUY/ GAL, tho’???? Pure adorable happy innocence.

IM(H?) O, it begins to seem that one of Tha Meg’s funny bones, or perhaps “cute bone” would be more-descriptive, is that she likes boopy rubber-lookin’ noses at about one inch from a camera lens!!! That’s an attribute, which this marvy piglette and the bald GP share.

Peace to Meg, to Piglette, to GP and to all.
