I have a question about cats because of something Albert does. How come when he’s beating the crap out of his stuffed mouse, he really, really starts to groom his paws? Does anyone know what that’s about?

Seriously, I’ve seen it before, all my kitties have done something similar. My guess, and it’s only a guess, is that their little brains get so buzzed when they get all crazed and wackadoodle while beating something up. It’s like their brains do a “reset.”

And dang it! I hate when cats look all crazy and focused on some portion of the room like there’s something over there! Dang! I hate that! It makes me so nervous. I’m like, “Albert! What’s over there in that corner?! What do you see over there? I don’t see anything. It must be something terrible for you to have that look on your face. What is it? Help me!”
Cats can see the “no-see-ums” that the rest of the world can’t and they take the responsibility of protecting us from them very seriously. Bless the defender cats!!!

Has anyone else got a jealouse feeling about the immaculate cleanliness of his residence? How anyone can keep hardwood floors so clean without the slightest floof, dust bunny or speck of dust is beyond me. *stares sulkily at the dust bunnies that have come out of hiding after she hoovered, got out the big and little brushes and cleaned the living room*.
LOL! I’ve thought the same thing! I had a cat for 14 years, and after 5 minutes, my place was a hairball haven! They must have made a movie set, and haul it out, only when filming Maru! lol!
