I’m glad they struck a lighthearted note with the music. Anything else and I might have lost it completely. As it is, I was smiling and feeling emotional at the same time.

I think that my favorite thing, aside from the sunglasses, ninja headband, toys…ok, wait, one of my many favorite things about this video is that in each and every picture he’s looking straight at the camera with what appears to be intense devotion to whoever is holding it! “I LOVE YOU! TAKE MY PICTURE! YOU’RE MY FAVORITE HOOMAN!”
That is one happy healthy dog! I love when we get to see not only the cute (I love me a big german shepherd) but the obvious love and care. So many toys! So much cuteness! What a great way to start my day!! Thank you cute overload!
I’m crying like an idiot now..I had to put down my GSD, Josie on Mother’s Day of all days..She got very sick all of a sudden, and we had to do it before she suffered any more. Just when I thought I was getting a -liiiitle- bit better, I watch THIS. She was the BEST dog that i’ve been lucky enough to be a faithful companion for. I miss her terribly. She had a long, VERY-well loved life of 10 1/2 years, but it was just her time.
My one teeny-tiny ray of hope, is adopting a new pup that needs a forever home from the Las Vegas GS rescue.
This video was so cute, and heart-wrenching at the same time for me. Thanks for posting it, but i’m going to go sit with my box of Kleenx and cry some more now.

Awww much love to you. I know how awful that can be. I cried at this video and I didn’t have a German Shepard, and I lost my other dog well over a year ago.
I have an eight-year-old long-coated GSD girl (Athena) and the video and your post made me tear up. I remember that cub-like little fluffball with the one floppy ear, who turned into an elegant, fierce, prick-eared, beautiful lady. I know her time will come eventually like it did your precious Josie, and I couldn’t have written your sentiments better. Hang in there. It comforts me to know that so many kind people are CO fans who understand. HUGS to all of you!!!
We have some neighbors who have German Shepherds. They breed them, and occasionally there are puppies. These people have a wrought-iron fence instead of a privacy fence, so you can see the little fuzzballs that look a bit like bear cubs toddling around the back yard.

Typical of GS pups. They start floopy them one or the other goes straight, while the other is at half-floop and finally the go rocket ears on you!
