It’s always hard to lose a friend, regardless of age, race, color or species. We lost a fine young fluffball named Puff under similar circumstances many years ago. I still get misty over here, but I remember her special silliness and am glad I had her for the time I did.
I’m so sorry! What a nightmare that must’ve been. And she was never “just a cat,” she was your sweet baby. I hope in time you’ll keep only the good memories in your heart.
