WOW
Just give me the money, NTMTOM. [Pause] How much for the gun?
Take the gun, leave the cannoli.
What leave a perfectly good canoli ????
You’re right! You take the gun and I’ll grab the cannoli!
The line is actually, “Leave the gun, take the cannoli.” Makes more sense that way, too.
who wants ta MAKE SENSE, Th?????
What kind of boids are these guys?
Some kinda fantail?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantail
Ahhhh, They make the shape of a heart, what a lovely “ménage à trois”.
Heh. I was just thinking they look a bit disapproving….
I confess I just looked up “pawnbroker’s symbol” to find out what NOMTOM was talking about. I learn so many random things here at CO.
So did I. Even the color is right!
Beautiful french.
Disapproving buurrrdies, disapprove! That’s one surly threesome.
Gorgeous little faces; they have EYEBROWS!
(swoon over the baby fuzz on their little chests too)
Please don’t pawn them (cannot think of one “pun/pawn)” to write…
sweeties…
They are SO PRETTY! Come on Boid Expertz what are they?
They’re hawks! I mean, hocks?
Sorry.
I tried to find out – no luck so far.
I’m no bird expert but, based on the shape of their tails, they look like they might be juvenile New Zealand Fantails…
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Zealand_Fantail
Yep, you got it, totally NZ fantails. Had a chance to see them live not long ago. Adorable little birds, and very inquisitive – they’ll fly up to you, and wait for you to shake a bush so that small insects will take off from the leaves for the birdies to catch.
Down-under birds are amazing, maybe just because I’m not from there. I love birds, and was most fascinated (and envious) to see the very different bird life down there. Amazing to me to wake up and see things like galahs, corellas and rosellas. And to hear kookaburras (incredibly LOUD). And bell miners, which go “BING! BING! BING!” and could conceivably drive you insane.
*snerk* “could CONCEIVABLY….”
Nice qualifying terms there, Th.
I get to see them fairly often as I live in New Zealand — they are just gorgeous!
April for the win!!!!! Bebeh fantails from down undah!!!!!!!
w00t!
They all look kinda frowny. Like they’ve been taking notes from bunnies.
These three remind of a singing trio from the 1960′s but I’m not too sureof which one.
The Kingston Trio? The Supremes?
I think it might be the Supremes, judging by the faces , the chiffon
gowns and the fact that the one in the mlddle looks like Diana
Ross!
OMG that’s exactly like the Pixar short film “For the Birds”. Google the video and watch it!
I think the one in the middle is being squished just a little too much. His eyes are bugging out!
Pawnbrokers have a symbol?
Learn somethin’ new every day!
Yes, they have three brass balls.
I shall forbear from further comment.
*giggle*
They were also incorporated into the family crest of the Medici (Renaissance bankers and eventually the ruling family of Florence). You see them (the “palle”) all over Florence, and the war cry or rallying cry was “Palle! Palle!” or “Balls! Balls!” Make of that what you will.
They gots little birdie eyebrows!
love the trading places rollover … looking good, NTMTOM …. Feeling good, Louis!
*happy sigh* so pretty! I see two parents keeping their baby warm, aw!
Also: “Twerp Bros” = HA HA HA
I’d bet that Click et Clack would love this one.
