Cute Overload :D
Sender-Inner Elizabeth C. says she wants:
Tagged as: Kittens
yes, let’s make some homes
Ok… that was too cute/sad to watch at 8am.
This makes my heart ache so much. Heartbreakingly cute!
Same here, Jaceyy. Make me want to take all of those kitties home.
Me too! I want all of them!
I tell my husband all the time that he’s lucky we don’t have money. I would take them ALL!
I’m SO with you on that one! I would take them all if I could! Poor kitties!
What a great ad! And so adorable.
So cute. But it would have been cuter without the animation.
I agree. The cats were adorable, but the animated mouths were borderline creepy.
My heart just melted… I’ll take them all!
My hubby and I have made homes for 3 so far. I wish we had a bigger house.
I want… no kitties to be without loving homes. /cry
Awwwwwwwww! Break my heart why don’t ya !!!
If I had a bigger house I’d have more than 7.
Well I guess all I can do is keep a bowl of food & water for anyone that stops by my back porch.
I can only have two in my apartment!
Cried again first thing in the morning! Thanks lol! Loving how it reminds me of ‘kittens inspired by kittens’!
OK, that made me cry almost as much as when I watched _Hachi_ but not as much as when I read _Marley and Me_.
I want to adopt them all. I could probably have a cat here….
Last one made me cry.
ugh.. me too >.<
This ad made me go ‘awww..’. Good ad! The kittens are so cute!
There would be a rebellion if I added to my clowder, but I’d take them all if I could!
All my pets (dogs and cats) have always been rescues! SAVE A LIFE!!!
::Picks up broken heart, glues it back together, forges onward.::
I hate the very thought that every cat does not have a loving home.
OMG!!! This commerical is why I love cats, they just want to be with people:) Everyone should have a cat because they are way cooler then most people!
aw geez, it’s been a crying week (Mom just started with hospice care) and this is not helping… I already have 11 kittehs and a guinea piggeh… all rescues… what more can I do, except cry some more…
ceejoe – so sorry to hear about your mom. Those Hospice folks are angels – they helped my mom too, I know how hard this is. Big hugs to you!
So sorry to hear about your mom. I hope your rescutes are providing you with much-needed comfort.
Thanks guys – they do give me lots of love. Plus – and this may sound crazy – they keep me so busy, cleaning, feeding, cleaning some more, etc, that it helps keep my mind busy.
Awww Ceejoe… Hugs to you and Crap now I am crying from the commercial and from thoughts of what you are going through… Hug your Mom lots and cuddle your babies for comfort. My Heart breaks for you and your Mom.
I’m sorry to hear about your mother. I hope that she’s comfortable in her setting and that you’re comfortable with her care. Hospice is a special calling, I hope that they’re able to help your family during this transition.
Yep – got my eyes going too. My baby is a rescue and I would love to have more. The little orange/white at the end looks just like her – MELT!!!!!!!
Oh Jesus! Way to break my heart first thing in the morning! Right now I’m fostering a stray mama and her five kittens. Three of them still “want” homes (and mama too)!
BTW, if you are in Northern NJ/NYC Metro area, some of these kitties need a home:
If you are *not* in the NJ/NYC Metro area, there are still plenty of kitties looking for homes at an animal shelter near you!
Of course there are. We all know that. Not sure why you feel the need to rain on my parade.
I want pie! I want beef jerkey!
Thanks, Cory– just what I was looking for!
I want to watch that 50 more times!!!! OMG; major cute kitties!!!! I want to give them ALL homes (if only my current girls would let me (they’re a little jealous of lap time as it is, and I’m afraid new kittens would not be properly welcomed)….UNTIL THEY ALL HAVE HOMES!!!!!
This takes the honor of being the first attachment I’ve ever put on my facebook page.
It’s so heartbreaking but carries a message of hope! >^.^<
“I want to be a contender” was soooooo cute!!! Squee <3
Too many wonderful animals are brought to shelters and are up for adoption, only to have nobody come bring them home. I know we all can’t help every single dog, cat, kitten, and puppy, but there are two things we CAN do.
One is to donate to your local animal shelter.
Another is to volunteer.
Animal therapy (as we all know since we all love animals on this site) is the best therapy. Help your local shelter continue to provide it.
A person who volunteers at an NYC shelter.
preaching to the choir here, mate.
::sniff:: ::Snort:: My eyes are watering because of allergies, clearly, not because of this ad…

The last kitteh…paw outstretched through cage…reminds me of my first adopted pet, Willow. When I went to the animal shelter I walked into the room where the kittehs were and walked to the first cage a black paw reached out, grabbed me shirt, and dragged me towards the cage. She picked me, I took her home, and she lived happily ever after – and stayed every bit as spunky as the day that she picked me. <3 Willow
Awww.. my kitty picked me too! I was deciding between her and another kitten. However, as soon as I picked her up she snuggled into me, and I knew she was the one.
Mine too. A little tiny, 6 or 8-week-old black persian with big orange eyes. Didn’t reach out and grab me. Just sat, calmly and regally, inside the cage and looked right in to my soul. Then he told me his name. I will swear it ’til the day I die. My Chester boy–had him for 14 long years! And NOW I’M CRYING AGAIN.
I cry from teh qte
My 7 rescued cats approve this ad
It’s too bad any cats have to be without homes. They usually don’t go without them for too long, though. Thousands of cats and dogs are put down every year because they can’t be placed in a home. Someone should really do something about that. Unfortunately, not everybody likes cats.
That’s because they don’t know cats. I have mostly had cats that have been labled as feral (maybe the were just stray). My-oh-my, they have been the best cats anyone could want! They have all adjusted well and seem to actually appreciate having happened on to the “good life”.
Resqute cats are awesome… all my kitties are rescutes… Most picked us. except my Mom’s two cats i have now… they were rescuted by my Mom and now they are with me.
This made me cry. Adorable kitties combined w/ adorable voices…. sigh.
We’ll always get rescue kitties, but just one at a time for us.
Add me to the list of criers. I’m a volunteer at our local Humane Society and see this every day. Volunteer! Write checks! Donate your unneeded dog sweaters, cat toys, etc. We can make sure that they all get homes, but we need your help to make them feel the love until we do.
Thanks, end of soapbox.
This is one ad I could watch and be inspired. I have my limit of kitties (3), but always get the rescues…often adults. Really nice work.
Very nicely done! Don’t forget the oldsters!
Man, I love this site, but… that wasn’t really cute at all! Making animals talk just makes them look less like cute animals, especially when their cute little mouths are warped and uglied to make it look like they’re talking! But that’s just me, judging by all the other comments…
so you’re saying it’s like putting chocolate sauce on chocolate-filled chocolate?
Not chocolate sauce. More like putting motor oil on chocolate-filled chocolate.
Or maybe like trying to add too many grossly sweet things to something already sweet. Like taking a perfectly good after dinner mint, then filling it with fake cherry filling and dousing it in chocolate and sprinkling it with banana Runts. In the end you’ve just got an ugly mess. Or something like that, I don’t know.
LOL! of course if someone dared me…
Not just you. I don’t like the animation, either.
I felt the same way about the Baby Bob commercials for Quizno’s. (Although admittedly the feeling was stronger about Baby Bob, just because I had in the back of my mind that it was the same company that thought singing roadkill was an appropriate advertising vehicle for a restaurant…)
I thought their mouths were a little creepy in some parts, too, but no worse than a Disney movie. But i liked their eyes. But really we’re just being nitpicky, ‘cos who the heck cares as long as it gets lots of people to go “D’AWWWWWW!” and donate to a shelter or adopt a new friend. Right?
*basking in the glow of sender-innering*
My little Panda is a rescute, too. When we got to the shelter, she curled up in my lap and promptly started purring as if to say, “Dibs.”
Well, now I’m going to go cuddle my kitty. He jumped into my arms the second I got to the shelter, as if throwing himself at me, and he’s been my BFF ever since. I’m proud to be his home, even if sometimes he needs to train me to be a better human.
You’re just the “food lady”. It’s a special role.
Excellent commercial. A heart-tugger but not too depressing. Go Humane Society. I love the animation!
That one with the “arms of an angel” song; can’t watch it. Have to turn it every time.
:sniff:: ::Snort:: My eyes are watering because of allergies, I have my limit of kitties (2), but we always get the rescues…often adults.my wiff has a black and white cat name savy and I have a white little one named Chrisy Really nice work. >^.^<
They all deserve homes. Don’t they?
I want ALL of them! I have one rescue and one I consider a rescue because he came from a pet store…but has MANY issues and would have been put to sleep a long time ago by a family who couldn’t handle him. So I consider him a rescue as well. I wish I could have more then two! Maybe in a few years…
I want one! Let’s make some homes.
I don’t get easily be moved by advertisements (call me cynical), but dangit, this one got to me.
I’m a proud papa to two wonderful feline children, both of whom were rescued (one was one I found on the street outside a school I worked at and another was from the shelter I volunteer at). Every time I leave the shelter after volunteering, I’m stunned I’m not walking out with a dozen more to take home. I sincerely hope that someday, no cat, dog, or companion animal will be without a loving home, and I’ll do whatever I can to make that come true.
That’s why I don’t volunteer. I know that my heart would break everytime and that I’d be thatmuch closer to becoming the neighborhood crazy cat lady.
I’ll write checks but make me look into all those widdle faces, young and old needing homes and I’m useless.
My husband showed this too me without warning and I balled.
These ads get me at the heartstrings. It doesn’t help when you have a special needs stray kitty to really make it hit home.
hmmmm………”Resqte” Tag, perhaps???????
Good lord… who’s chopping onions in here?
I’m soon to move into a bigger house.. and you can bet that means I’ll give another kitty or dog a home.
Too cute!! “I want my nails done. Once a week.” Don’t we all?
Awwwww I WANT ONE!!!! This really made my night!
