    Now here’s my question…

Is the Kitteh watching the Sheep? Or is the Sheep watching the Kitteh? Hmmmmm interesting… Take the BLUE pill!!! LOL

If a leaf falls in the forest and there’s no sheep to see it …..

    • wuyizidi says:

No, no, no, this is not the Matrix, this is Inception: the cat is in the sheep’s dream, thinking he is counting sheep, trying to fall asleep. It’s a dream within a dream within… wait, I’m confused, and where’s my token?!

I can’t help but notice that ewe have a pink spot on your back. How did that happen, pray tell?

    • SoccerSue says:

My best guess as a non-farmer-type person: I think they mark them as they vaccinate them, so they don’t “shoot” the same one twice. ‘Cause, ya know, they all start to look alike after a while. :-P

      • DewiCasGwent says:

Snerk you could saw She has had a shot, the pink spot is a riddle mark, Rams have either a ‘crayon’ harnessed under them or just a splodge of dye paste on their belly that is transferred to the ewes back when they [insert euphemism here]. The Colour is changed weekly so each ewes due date can be estimated.

      • Wend says:

or, is it that, having counted a few too many, the ‘farmer-type’ begins to drift off?

    • luvstehQte says:

sometimes that indicates a ewe that’s recently had an encounter with a ram. some farmers mark the ram’s, uh, underside with red paint. then, when the ram gets together with a ewe, the paint gets transferred to her back. that way the farmer knows which ewes are likely to end up ‘in the family way.’

or, then again, I’ll hypothesize about another whole possibility. Could have to do with when which sheep were shorn …??? Just a possibility ….

We refer to the big window with the sill as “Kitty TV.”

When we got a bird feeder and hung it out under said window, we said we were installing “Kitty cable.”

      • pyrit says:

Yep, that’s how I got the inspiration for this post. From my cat looking out the window watching the squirrels this morning. I told him it was a re-run, but he didn’t care.

    • wuyizidi says:

Sadly for kitteh, as with the current generation of 3D TV, the characters appear as 3D objects behind/inside the screen, not in front of it.
