When it really is one, it’s fun to know, just so we can admire the craftsmanship. I’ve tried a few photomanips, and they all suck, so I know it’s not easy.

Manips are a real pain to learn to do, but oh-so-rewarding when you fool people, hee! I have been doing them a lot for 3 years, and my last really complex one took something like 80 hours. No, I haven’t done any silliness like the above, but I must say I am tempted!

I thought it might be shopped — the scale looked off, the edges blurred in unconvincing ways, and the cat’s pose unlikely. Actually I am GLAD it is shopped because the cat’s tail is all poofy. If this were real, that would be one scaredy cat.
