And eye capsules! And look at the webbed clawsies. There is all kinds of cuteness going on here.
They must be evil! Looked at the webbed feet!
I for one welcome our silver merpeople overlords.
+1
Awww! I love their color.
those otters look stoned
They look like sleeping babies.
The WEBS! Those be WORLDWIDE webs!
PS Why they so sleppy?
Dem jus littul.
They are babeh GIANT otters, their so young they haven’t opened their eyes yet
which means their ears will be bigger than bite-size. Zooborns (the original site) says these guys will get up to 6 feet long and 75 lb. I’ve been drooling over them for days.
Are you sure they’re not platypi?
…bills?
…bills, bills, junk, bills.
YAY for pyrit & theo’s volleying!!!
Wait till they do open their eyes, that’ll be so ADORABLE!!!
Chomp! (burp). Oh! Excuse me. The ears were just so delish…
Did they taste the same as chocolate Easter bunnehs’ ears???
“It’s not Monday yet!!”
My attitude exactly!!
“I’m strong to the finish, ‘cos I eats me spinach”

Go, Navy!!! Beat Army!!!
PS: in the cartoon clip here, Popeye blusters strongly past a street sign.
On the sign, the name of the street, reads (pause) “Foist” !!!!
I want a close up of the ears. And I want to see then use their wittle feet to paddle in a tub.
I want webbed feetsies!!! (I think….)
Fuzzy Cheerios. Coming to a cutermarket near you.
Strange… the fuzzy Cheerios I found under the couch were never this cute.
ewwww
“you know you liked it …”
I want to sing them a lullaby and rock them gently.
rock them slowly? take it easy, gigi, don’t you know?
there ain’t never been ear noms like this before…
Earworm!
and it was a GOOD’un, too
OMG – the ears SLAY me.
WANT!
Such little sweeties!! I love giant river otters, and I am so happy that conservation programs at zoos are taking such good care of these endangered little critters. I just want to kiss their furry noses…
Behbehs with old-man mouths.
HA! I was just thinking the same thing. Definitely disgruntled.
In fact, I think this should be a new rule of cuteness: If you’re a baby and you look disgruntled, it’s cute.
***ENTIRELY EMPHATICALLY agree**
Do we have a Quorum (whatever that means)????
otters, otters, otters, otters !!!!!
was that one too many otters … ?
you otter be ashamed of yourself, going on like that.
Yep. Totally false advertisement. Why, there otter be a law!
What is this “too many otters” you speak of? Please to be esplain.
Ear d’oeurves.
WIN WIN WIN WIN and also, WIN!!!!!111!!!!!
They’re otterly adorable.
I see several possible axxxis of snorgle. I think I must go where these are and test.
I was once floating down the Rogue River (Southern Oregon), 3 days of blissful wilderness, when one day we rounded a bend and there on the riverbank not 10 feet away from us was a river otter munching on a freshly caught salmon. We looked at each other until the river took us around the next bend… all happened so fast we wondered if we’d really seen what we really saw. One of those amazing lifetime moments (as in “once in a”, not cable TV). Will these little babes grow up to catch salmon in some wild river of their own? One can always hope…
*gentle, peaceful reverie*
I can hardly wait to find out what their names are gonna be!
I vote for Calvin and Trixie, if applicable.
Where would I have to go to see a six foot giant river otter in a river? Zoos are nice, but I want to see the real deal. They look kinda weird scary to me.
The Amazon River. Endangered mostly because they compete with the native Indian tribes for fish. They’ve also been known to take caimans from time to time. You might have to search for quite a while, though– giant otters are quite shy.
Thanks Bell. I’d love to see them running on the bank or swimming around playing like all otters play.
If you just want to see some wild otters, go to Morro Bay. They are everywhere.
I would love to snorggle them but I bet they have fish breath.
MUST! NOM!! EEEEEEAAAAAAARRRRRRSSSSSS!!!!!
omnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnomnom!
The feetz! The webbed, way-to-big feetz!
Hmm? What’s that? Stop nomming on their ears? I’m not … nom, nom, nom …
The ears also look like they’re lightly frosted. MMMmmmm.
