Gah! Those slippers! LOL!!!
When my little hammy Gus was half a year old he stuffed some bedding in his cheeks, escaped from his cage, and built a nest underneath my bed. At 4 in the morning. Scared the bejeebus out of me when I heard tiny scurring and scratching coming from my mattress.
Little Sammy did the same thing while we were on vacation for 2 weeks! We came home to find him missing and 8-year-old me was panicked. We found Sammy curled up between my mattress and box springs sleeping the sleep of the exhausted, next to a pile of every seed that had been dropped and lost in the carpet over the last year!
LOL! Good work Sammy the Hammy!
