I used to take care of a springer spaniel who would throw the ball at me if I didn’t keep going until he tired of the game. The problem was that he never tired of the game. I think I could have thrown until my arm fell off, and he still would have picked up the ball in his mouth and thrown it back at me.
When your arm fell off, he would have picked it up and given it to you, expecting you to put it back on.
p.s. haven’t seen Tail Boy lately, but I’m going to the dump tomorrow and I usually see him on that road.

Me too. I’ve recently adopted a dog who was 10 months at the time. I saw this image and thought ‘this must be what she looked like as a pup’ – I would love to see how close they resemble each other now!
