One of these things is not like the others, One of these things just doesn’t belong, Can you tell which thing is not like the others By the time I finish my song?
That Poochie reminds me of myself when I was five when and I went to Disneyworld. I was so scared over the costumed characters. I still get uneasy around them.
Am I the only one who thought that song was teaching kids to judge on appearances? And to fear what is different? I swear there’s a Mad TV or SNL skit out there about it…
@Lizzy, that’s an interesting point of view. I never thought it was about judging on appearance, but then, when I watched Sesame Street [mumble, mumble] years ago, the “one of these things” skit only showed objects, not living creatures. I can see that if the ‘things’ include living things that someone could interpret it the way you did. Or if they had seen the Mad TV or SNL skit first!
Such a sweet little puppy in this picture. He doesn’t belong there, he belongs with me! *scoops puppy and runs away quickly*
NTMTOM planted the first ear worm, and Hon Glad, you have now supplanted it! I’ll be singing songs from Sesame Feet and the Mup-Pet Show all day at work.
I think Elmo does drugzzz……

All I can think of at the moment are really off-color Elmo jokes.
Umm, what color could possibly be more “off” than those slippers?
Is the puppy a baby puppy?
Hey, there’s an itty-bitty Wookie between those Elmo slippahs!
Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Feet?
(Take a left just after the dogleg.)
Aaaaaaaaaaa!!!
Says it all, really!

In other news… GIMME THAT PUPPEH! *grabby hands*

Has anyone else noticed that the little puppy has a “face within a face?” Look closely…..
Yes I see it too. The dark slants above the nose look like closed eyes, a 2nd face.
Uh-oh, SOMEBODY got Gizmo wet! Here comes a Gremlin!
My feet would be VERY happy to have puppeh between them!
That dog looks like a baby wookie.
It’s time to put on make up
It’s time to dress up right
It’s time to be uncertain of the Muppet on the right
Hilare!

You say that like it’s a BAD thing!
Those elmo’s look a wee bit dangerous. Maybe a call to the ASPCA is in order.
“She’s got legs…. and she knows how to use them….”
Nawwww, it looks a little sleepy hehehe…
