I just wanted to mention that I’d done a volunteer stint at a zoo and was astonished to discover that monkey chow, along with freshies, was indeed what they fed the monkeys!
Believe it or not, Purina has a ‘chow’ for almost every critter imaginable!

Sorry hovertext the monkey definately has da kitteh, it’s the only way I can see it. Besides, a baby monkey would probably think a kitten ate bananas and monkey chow.
The cutest thing about this is not just that a monkey and a kitten are cuddling, but that they both look so relaxed and trusting.

What a wonderful picture of bliss. I am totally melted. I wish my cat would let me hug her like this for more than three seconds!
Not sure where I saw this, but I am remember reading about a chimp at a zoo who was very depressed because he was lonely. Chimps are extremely social creatures so this was very disturbing. The zoo keepers brought in a kitten one day to see how the chimp would react, and it turned out that the chimp absolutely loved the kitten and would often pick it up and cuddle, always very gently. So, they let him keep the kitten. As the cat got bigger and older, it would sometimes leave the cage to explore, but he always came back. It was a very heartwarming story.
Well, it surely warmed MY heart!!

I’m getting a whole extra layer of cute with this one as the monkeh bears a striking resemblance to my late Grandad, who also loved tabbies.

Interesting colours on the kitten, something tells me that’s not a house cat. Anyone know what breed it is?
I don’t know what breed the kitty is but that hug has caused me to feel faint, my heart to palpitate and my toes to curl, detach from my feet and hug my shins. Also, this photo is so loving and totally sweet that my eyebrows have crawled off my face and embraced my knees. I will now try to put everything back where it’s supposed to be.
