Welcome to the Neighborhood

I’m Sadie, and this is Edith, and that’s Marcella. They’re kind of stand-offish around new people, though. Heck, I’ve known ‘em for years and most days they don’t give me the time of day. Like talking to a couple of statues sometimes.

I guess you could say they’re still friends, Meagan E.

Little guy looks like he’s scatching his behind on the bear’s foot. :-)

  5. I having awful flashbacks to the video from AFV with the little boy who takes out his mouse outside and his Dad makes him put it on top of the cage…..

It gets taken away by a hawk…..

      And that was considered funny??

    • AuntieBellum says:

Well, not “ha ha” funny, but a lot of what they show on that program is more cringe-inducing than laughter-inducing.

Anyway, it’s the circle of life. Hawks eat rodents. So you can’t really complain about it being “offensive” or “cruel.”

Not offensive or cruel, just sad. As a rodent owner, if a hawk took one of my rats I would reel it in with a lasso. Or cry.
